  1. Reading it again it does sound like a bad voltage regulator. You can always pull it out and have a look, will be obvious if its bad
  2. Guessing hes referring to this. http://www.bmwe34.net/E34main/Maintenance/...usible_link.htm

Sounds like you should have a bimmersport auction then
  4. Got my set from ebay for around $150 shipping iirc
  5. Ill take a Pair NZ Plates with Black Ferns 'TT1555' with pair of blank plate plates also
  6. Fuel pressure regulator?
  7. Never used an activation code just a crack
  8. 1 lady owner is good because if a man owned one these of he would have to hand in his man card.
  9. Yeah dollar comes into play. I agree some items locally are well priced but seems like the more expensive parts and less common ones are usually way more expensive than overseas, even with added shipping costs. I do buy local for odd part now and again but for bulk orders i cant see dealers being cheaper, not to mention the hassle as to availability and shipping etc as mentioned
  10. Always, unless its real heavy stuff like brake rotors etc then shipping cost to much

I do consider myself lucky that i can knock off mag pies, rabbits etc from my window. Always been in military arms so owned most things i could on an A cat, should have the E soon with any luck. If you like military rifles an AR-15 is a rifle you never regret buying if you have the coin

Cant say like the white wheel or white dials but rest is mint
  13. They look crazy(in a good way)
  14. I went with BOGE shocks myself I know rear SLS springs are basically a support as the shocks control the ride height so you wouldnt use them in a conventional shock\springs setup. Apparently EDC springs are ok to use but since you have SLS\EDC on the rear im guessing you would need to get some std rear springs and re use the fronts If you going with bilsteins id get lowering springs to suit or get the shocks revalved, otherwise it would be a harsh ride. If you keeping with std springs id get Boge's but bear it mind it wont handle as good as a working SLS and\or EDC system or a good springs\shock combo
  15. Yeah ive never had a look at how an E38 with SLS and EDC is setup before. Id imagine the rears use the hydraulic system for leveling and are also electronically controlled for damping. Dont have part numbers on hand but i got most of my parts from pelican parts so was just of choosing the non-self leveling\edc parts. The plugs i used were part no:07-11-9-919-228-M9 Are you planning on lowering it at all?
  16. Recently did this myself on the E38 740il, not hard just time consuming doing the rear and $$$. Since you probably have SLS and EDC you would need new springs, shocks, strut mounts etc for back and front. Here some idea. I blocked up the accumulators instead of re-routing http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/showt...d.php?t=1495281
  17. Do an E28 odo's stop at 500,000 too like the early e34s? or is that just an old picture
  18. You'd probably be the minority . Could never live with one myself esp the dash
  19. No doubt the E39 handles and is faster etc but E34 feels alot more like a drivers car. Prefer the E34 mainly because you can get manual box fairly easy, more character with classic bmw looks & driver-centric controls and feels alot better built than e39(less sh*t plastics)
