Does anyone have access to some decent schematics for 1996 E36 M52 323i Camshaft sensor? I need to do some testing on my old girl, just unsure what I should have at each pin where the Sensor plugs in under the manifold. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

The KOMBI is at Robinson Instruments I will get it back tomorrow and get more information. The car is a 1992 520i M50, fairly certain it's kiwi new.

Hi Brent, How much and does it have "L/100Km" for the fuel consumption indicator? Cheers Antony

Hi, I'm after a good condition E34 Kombi for a customer, I'm located in Auckland. Unsure what they are worth so let me know what you think is fair. Cheers Ant

From a sales point of view, it works everytime.

Serious? Hahahahahah gold, I brought my Iphone 4 of a mate that downgraded to one of those. He didnt sound so keen on it after a month, think he regrets it.

Antony. I work at McMillans. Were you looking under it in the evening? I was working on the M3 Convertible next to you.

That looks gorgeous! Cant beat a big 6 E46, best of luck. Someone will end up with a very nice car.

Did you get your PPI done today?
-
If your in Auckland take it to McMillans or Claytons. Many years experience in the dealer network and its important to make sure the recalls have been carried out. They are also very aware of what to look for in regards to the chassi issues that are common on the E46 (if indeed you are looking to purchase a E46).

Thats so cool. Very jealous.

Just out of curiosity what are you experiencing?

Have you checked the rear brake pads? Aftermarket pads sometimes dont locate 100% and this can cause 'clonks'. Seen it many times on imports with non genuine pads. Also can you replicate the nosie by pressing the brake pedal and switching between 'D' and 'R' Assuming its Auto ofcourse A few other avenues to think about other than suspension components.

Indeed, my understanding is its more about killing interior "drone" on BMW's than outright Db ratings.

I was lucky enough to do the PDI on this particular 1M and 2 others. I absolutely love them, heaps of fun to drive.

Loads of BMW's have muffler flaps. E46 330i, E90 335i, E60 545i, 550i, 645i, 650i E65 745i, 750i etc etc etc the F01, F10 even the Rolls Royce ghost. They're OEM and don't allow for driver interference.

Quoted from the VIRM (the WOF Bible) Reasons for rejection # 3. The exhaust system is so constructed or modified that its operation or effectiveness can be readily interfered with, eg the driver is able to interfere with the exhaust system by operating a manual switch" You may argue that this is referring to the systems effectiveness in regards to fumes. The WOF boffins that issue WOF inspectors with their authority seem fairly adamant that this refers to both the exhaust systems ability to deal with the fumes and decibel output.

I have just moved from RE001 on my Legacy to RE11 on Friday. RE11's are awesome! Amazing grip to be had, very impressed.

If they go all east/west and front wheel drive, then we have issues. Working on Mini's is bad enough. V6 not so bad aslong as it sits properly.

The 116i was fortunate not to receive Valvetronic. Generally a very reliable engine. Diesel is the way to go with the 1 series.

These cars have been maintained to a very high standard. Probably some of the best condition E6x 7's available in NZ.
