Hi. I seem to be fixing or panelbeating more and more e30's up here. (Backyard setup) I'm beginning to learn about these car's inside and out. 4 cylinder or 6. So if anyone needs a service similar to Gus's " jungle racecar services" meaning adivice, servicing, suspension work, engine, gearbox pretty much anything only up here in whangarei just contact me direct 0211853357 or email [email protected] or P'm me. P.S I'm heaps cheaper than the Bmw dealer ship or your local garage. I'm even thinking about purchasing a service light reset tool

Yeah Nice lil skid Riley. how come your strut brace is different than mine? Mines Heaps stronger now all box section now. Did you get the proto type?

Mate you could take it to a panel beater or engineer and get them to make you one..... But yeah hartop is heaps tougher. softtop = f**kin gay

Yeah man the rear parcel tray is part of the structure of the car. If the warrent guy see it he will fail you as the structual integrity of the car is weakened. So you'll have to get it welded up or do it yourself otherwise your gonna have to look at writing the car off. Who the f**k hacks into the structure of a car with a angle grinder if they ain't panel beating???? Man there are some Ruff Kunts around

While I'm making my exhaust up I've run into the issue of where to plumb the o2 sensor into my exhaust. Where is the best place to plumb it in?? my motor is 92 2.5ltr m50 non vanos and o2 sensor is off a m60 motor but I've being told it will work fine for my motor by a bmw mechanic.

Yeah I was talking to the engineer today he rekons he's making them out of 32mm mandrel bends equal length 6-2-1 similar to the one's pictured but made to fit my m50 swap. he rekons it's gonna cost around $2000- $2500 with new full 2 1/2" mild steel tube exhaust with 1 resonator and 3" truck muffler with 3" tip. Also I gotta plumb a o2 sensor in there somewhere to....

Just being watching the auction on these's extractors. Was curious as to what they were gonna sell for as I'm currently getting a set made up at an engineers workshop and I'm thinking he's gonna charge me heaps. Anyone else had custom extractors made? If so how much did it cost? THanks Gary

3" mandrel bent stainless...$65 each Silicon joiners about $2 each 1/4' tube for vaccum lines and had to spend time fitting welding grinding to fit it. Still rough as I reckon . Could have done it better but I was in a hurry

Heres mine for another example. I'm not putting my pod in a box just ducting it from the bumber and having a shield just around the inside of it..
-
Yeah man that's all I used . And they are only like $40 each from bnt

Yeah I had the same problem finding a e21 booster. There's heaps around just nobody keeps them or throw's them out. I found mine from spotting a old e21 sitting in a padock up north here. I approched the owner and she said that I could help myself. I had to get it recondtioned though. Also US swap info is based around the left hand drive e30... Exhaust manifold clearance issues Plus you are gonna need the flywheel starter and clutch setup from the 260 box and cut and weld the shift selector rod 10 degrees. I have't heard you talk about sorting a e34 oil sump etc as you won't be able to sit the e36 motor in your e30 cause of crossmember clearences.

Swapd my diff over today. Man What a kunt to do by yourself. First of all the orginal bolts were f**kin tite as. Then trying to balance the diff on the jack and line the top mounting bolts up was a mission.. All up took me about 4 hours once I'd tidied up.... Having a hoist and extra pair of hands would have made it easier though...

Hahaha yeah bro tell me about it...... Managed to sell that large case one finally.... Yeah not long still sussing out and trying to get the extractors rite
