    2.7 Bits...again

    no idea on how many Km's, but crank has been straightened (no more details on invoice as it was outwork) which cost $1200. so its good. as for cost...well im not even sure if i want to sell..so would have to be persuasive enough to make me want to sell..... just to be a pain in the ass.

    Will emailed to say that he thinks its a broken pressure plate finger. Or the release bearing getting stuck preventing engagement. Not looking at email but something along those lines. Will have a looksie anyway on weekend same, gimme a bell

    schooled 17 max e30....15/16 ideal. only reason i would go 17 was if i wanted bigger brakes and could not find any decent 16's (v possible)

    2.7 Bits...again

    I'm not out to actively sell, but if the right offer came along i may take it. have eta block/crank/pistons (still assembled). head (useless for most). and some bits. options include: having a 320, putting the head on (as it matches the pistons) and having a decent 2.7, bout 190hp with a lot of torque and economical. Or put a 325i head on and turbo the hell out of it. Or just use crank and 325i rods and custom pistons to make 2.8 once bored out....oh the options holla at [email protected]

    i figured...but cant change titles, so stuck with it interesting to hear view points.....i know bugger all about carbs so is always interesting to find out. will prob stay with fuel injection....still trying to come to a solid long term goal 2.5 turbo/2.7 turbo or high compy N/a 2.8..... oh the decisions

    on m20 2.5...bugger all raises rev limit and that seems to be about it carl was not particularly complimentary about his..lost power
  14. it is rather pricey....i imagine you could do an S50 over in the states for that cash....you kinda ask yourself what the point is? race series with restrictions on engine type? and turbo...ah well crazy yanks a turbo idea i had now that glenn has a holset is that of using my 2.7 crank and block and low compy pistons, and a 325i head. pretty low comp, but super badass

    bring it on weekend, ill jack it up and have a look too if it is mounts, get sorted ASAP....as engine going into radiator aint cool and so easily prevented

    no pre FL..rumour of a couple of FL 4 doors, but could just be specced up from factory, not an actual production model.

    here we go... i take it we talking about e30's here..... if it has a black headliner, you can be pretty sure its a motorsport. make sure it has the correct bits like 15"basketweaves, LSD, Kit and sport seats, as these are what make them worthwhile. Whilst i agree that e30's are similar and with these bits are virtually the same, at the same time, a nice motorsport is so much nicer than a standard e30. so they really are diff cars. Later models, seem to be mix and match, no clear cut factor definition.
