you need a 731 head. it is from a 320 as well (pre or post facelift models) which is a bit more common, shouldnt be hard to find one if you get really desparate, i have a 200 head that you could use..however the ports are mighty small compared to the 731 and 325i 885 heads. but it would work

the BMW dealer in taka ran a deal for WOF too a while back....interested how it picked up a lot of 'worn' bushes. took the car to on road (respectable place) and it passed. was not impressed

what do everyones cars weigh? actual weights only please...factory ones dont seem to mean a lot mine is 1180kg 2600 lbs at the local rubbish dump. pretty happy with that, only have jamex buckets, no rear seat/belts/not much in boot, full stereo (no sub). might make a rangi ass fibreglass bonnet one day when i get bored to take some more weight off the front interested to compare to other e30s (pre FL/318/320s) and e36/e46's

its pretty normal, there prob nothing wrong with your engine the oil breather is the one come from the rocker cover to the throttle body. bout an inch thick or so

stands arent a prob...cheap to buy new also the hoist im looking at (and have used before) have fold up legs.take up an acceptable amount of space, and easy to transport. would prob use 3-4 times a year, although dropping out the bottom is fun! but i prefer a hoist to put back in.

looking at possibly buying an engine hoist and/or stand anyone got an old one lying around they dont use anymore? brand new trademe ones are around $300...any feedback on em?

was quite an impartial judge...pretty good vid to me, it depends on the cop. some are reasonable about the whole thing. some have no judgement whatsoever and would be sh*t at ANY job they do, just a pity their chosen field affects everyone else im all for taking wankers off the road, but its not just young people. oldies are retarded too at driving often, and many young people are perfectly safe drivers. all comes down to PC NZ and ridiculous licensing...my pet horse is driver training..why not make it compulsory for licensees to sit driver training, or at least providing an incentive to take driver training courses (practical, not theory)

in my opinion got a few odos you can try, should even be able to get it to ya original milage. if one works you can have it for ten bucks still need to look for door cards though!
