http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/car-parts-...n-389578192.htm That's it really, figured someone may be interested.

lol reminds me of a few years ago, I was walking home and two kids on a scooter passed me... the one sitting behind had a mini-traffic cone, and was making PSSSSSHHHHH! noises rofl
-
Dude, you buying or selling?
-
We laugh, but that's the closest we have to an offensive capability air force-wise at the moment. It would only take a few guys with hang gliders and a box of hand grenades to have more of an air force than we do. :?

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

If repairable, depending on how much you got it for, repair it. Or part it out. E36 wagon would be good, certainly a project I'd keep tabs on here, but resale? Dunno... Please don't Ti it - am I the only one here that doesn't like compacts? Simply cannot stand them, they look like child versions of the coupe - "one day when I grow up, I'm gonna be a - !"

Insurance companies and car retailers are likely to need access for financing/prevention of fraud purposes. Don't quote me on that, but being in an enforcement agency myself, those are my thoughts behind it. (and nah, I have NO chance of being able to look details up for non-work stuff, my work is ruthless about it) There is always going to be an element of trust that goes into allowing access to details like these, and bad apples that screw it up for everyone else. That's why I have a PO box, and my car wasn't registered to my address for registration purposes. Insurance you can't do anything about really, since companies usually have your house details stashed somewhere...

Sorry to take this ever so slightly off topic, but can M-spec struts be rebuilt? I'm presuming not, and am figuring given the age and condition of my project to be that I'll have to replace all four corners, but thought it would pay to ask since the topic has come up

The car's been for sale for a while, I remember commenting on it here... So Brent, got pics of the White 'un? I do love manual 535 porn...

Hah, don't talk to me about TTS... years ago the idiots in Napier 'repaired a puncture', which went flat the next day. Repaired it again, 'it's all good now they said'...Cruising back home along marine parade, blowout on front driving wheel at 110km, not fun. Even less fun when I changed the tyre, and found the wheelnuts were so loose a ten year old boy could have undone them. We did get four new tyres and a full size spare out of it though. Nowadays I tend to check them afterwards...

And in the right order lol

I'll see if I can find a pic. Edit: Koken 3127 (3/8") or 4127 (1/2") Nut-Twister® Impact sockets.
-
Seems to be: Seafoam on Trademe, auction 373333486 Considering that people are spending US$5-7 in the states, and it's $25 a can here , I'm hoping there are other options. (There is another seller on TM offering $75 for 3...)
-
There are Koken impact sockets that you can use - they have spiralled or threaded knurling/ripples and are driven onto the nut, and are then used to take the nut off. Not available everywhere for obvious reasons, try a tyre shop, or engineering supply place to see if they know anyone with them?

Google image "Osama's body"... looks like him... what's left of him. Now, I'm just gonna put it out there... Obama either has announced his bid for reelection, or is about to... I wonder how long Osama has been dead for? Just putting it out there
-
Or tie them to the ground and run them over with said car.
-
lol I know exactly what you mean!
-
Dude, maybe it's the beers I've just had, maybe it's that lateness of the hour, but I cannot help but think that stick on brembo covers just fail on so many levels... I mean, it's a bit more subtle than a sticker list of aftermarket car brands on your door, but it still fails. Just my 2c, but the money can go on better things...
-
Bellicose, why does this thread seem familiar?
-
This, or near a construction site - apparently metal flecks hit paint work, rust, result eats into paint. Got pics?
-
What brand do you have? I have, or rather had a CTEK (until the quake, and several inches of water/liquefaction), and am looking at other brands shortly...

Does anyone in Chch sell used/recon'd batteries?
Sick Puppy replied to Sick Puppy's topic in Want to buy
Bumpage - no one knows of anyone doing these? -
Anything by Asus or Toshiba - my Asus was purchased fron DSE five years ago, it's still going strong. It has and s-Video connection (similar to / better than composite leads, well back then... [shrugs]), and I'm pretty sure they have HDMI sockets now.
-
Does anyone here know of any Chistchurch firms (sparkies, wreckers, etc) that sell used or reconditioned batteries? I looking for one for my Caldina, nothing fancy, just 310-350CCA, small posts. Ta muchly!

I have a competitor... This hurt my ears when I heard it over a decade ago - I listened to it today enough to identify the song only, and that was enough for me. If I had to listen to it once, you can all bloody watch it! lol Best quote I've seen so far is "A bunch of crackhead Spice Girls fresh from their caravan site in Maidstone, stood by some swimming pool in Butlins." Awesome!
