lmao, karma's a bitch sometimes isn't it!
-
Cheers Glenn, you have a good Christmas too

HELL YEAH! Group buy! lolPS Sorry for post whoring, but it sounds like its been an awesome trip! Missed the rocket launcher pic though Re: that train lady with the mask and swine flu, are you hearing much about swine flu over there? There was meant to be a bit of an epidemic over there or something, although it seemed to be the thing of conspiracy theorists...

At the risk of sounding dense, what does '75D' mean in terms of Urethane? I assume it refers to the density? Any guide for this sort of thing?
-
+1 They certainly make me cringe lolThere are a lot of these advertised in the UK BMW magazines... heck, the E46 M3 only has them because one side needs the cooling for the ECU...
-
erm, posting here as I haven't seen anything else come up (yet)... I'll be looking at some kind of group buy for e34 bushes in the near(ish) future; if it has a bush, I'll be replacing it. Or at least trying to! lol My preference is powerflex, although I'm flexible at this point (waka waka waka )

+ 1- they did a great job on my cracked Enkei... resprayed it back to white too edit: Two hundred posts! Woo-hoo!
-
There was an episode of Wheeler Dealers about these, and the self levelling suspension were seriously expensive... about 1000 GBP? Decent aftermarket suspension that was non-levelling was about 300 GBP- unless you are a purist, there's no comparison really! lol
-
Just curious, but what is the resolution? Open up and clean out, or replace?

What everyone else said dude... modified cars never get their value back- by the time you factor in buying the car, the parts and labour (plus HP interest if it's in finance) the resale won't recoup your costs. And then the quality of the mods- parts and installation- must be kosher, otherwise the owner's wasted their money. There are also the buyer's tastes to consider, as once it's modified, it limits to market to a very select few, most of which don't have the cash to pay you, and worse still, will probably try to put trades (Hondas!) plus cash your way. If you are planning on selling it, get it on the road, driveable, and then sell it; keep the mod money for your next car. Oh, and sell the chromes- they divide buyers REAL quick! lol

Yeah, pity they'd never let him in... would take a fair bit of smarts to keep track of everything, and stay alive and uncaught... well, at least until they caught him anyway!
-
It was in the Dominion post as well- while I think they were Darwin award candidates if they were near them powerlines, how stupid would you have to be to set this up so you can post it on Youtube and then forget the camera?!
-
$344 for a rolling shell? I'd have lived with that, were it not for the E34 wanting my attention at the mo and having no space to park it! lol Knowing nothing about the market price for e30's, what kind of price would you be looking at for a fully working e30 320? As opposed to this one that needs an engine, clutch and probably wheels (since it doesn't come with the chromes lol)...
-
This dust particle stuff, was this same stuff used for e34's? My door cards are falling apart, I was figuring it was sponge, but if it can be repaired...
-
This bad boy every time- and one day I hope to drive one! In the meantime I'll look to put my 535 back on the road, once we've gotten our new arrival sorted This would be awesome, but I thought they never made these in RHD, and had to be modified? I could do with a Touring at the mo
-
Driven on the bump stops? Ooh, not good! Is the car salvageable from that, or would the mounts be wrecked?
-
$25k? In a recession? Take it. Seriously- Yeah, you've spent more on it than that, but it really depends on how much you count on getting for it when sale time comes, and what your intentions were in the first place. But you are unlikely to get that kind of cash for it any time again soon, and it's a lump sum. That means house deposit, and in long run means $$$$$ Just my 2c.

Schnitzers on TM

That is a very nice car Brent... and yeah, $10k is bloody high... but then with a reshell, new bushes, headers, work on engine and clear lights, I don't even want to think what I'll be spending... but then there's the experience too!
-
Hey guys, I think this was one I was seriously considering a few years back- bloody expensive, but in great condition- done another 35000 km or so more since it was last for sale, but darn it still looks good! [makes mental note that his reshell should probably be in white ] http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...n-250160270.htm
-
Sorry dude, repost at least twice over...
-
I reckon enthusiast- for the right price. If it is that good a nick, it would be a shame to part it out, and a turbo conversion sounds AWESOME(!)... but should be for those ones that are in okay shape, not a minter like this one! Just my 2c
-
Bloody hell, that looks terrifying... and I'm gonna do that to an entire car!
-
Heard of it, but not seen the pics- nice! I saw one of a coupe, but was unsure if it was photoshopped?
-
not that I want to thread hijack, but... since my query is pretty similar... What shipping companies should I use to send stuff to the states? I have a few car bits that I'm looking at sending- nowhere near 40kg, but a fair size (about the size of an engine muffler ). Shipping over there I imagine will be pretty pricey, so what companies would you use? (assuming NZ Post is a no-go price-wise...)
