dont know but the damage said it all... either bashed into by someone incompetent or slid into something? was only just infront of the RR wheel would have taken some fixing... Still, all you would need that car for is the soundtrack, everytime i would stop and listen..

wow. actually just carfax'ed the vin which i didnt notice at first and im friggin right check vin WUAZZZ8E07N904934

heck that RS4's cheap! but if its plate used to be 'TORYS8' then it'll have covered up RR door damage. One of that description used to always be in my neighbourhood, had a mishap once!
-
aw shucks chris, was expecting it to be your cossie! haha thats crazy cool doing them indoors

Yeah that's perfect. But at the dealer is a LOT pricier.

thanks for the offer graham, unfortunately not planning any trips that way anytime soon...

WTB: e30 coupe chrome trim piece for facelift, RF piece from mirror to 1/2 way over right rear passengers window. Was driving along yesterday in what i thought to be moderate wind when i hear an almighty ripping sound to see my driver's over-window trim piece fall in my rear view mirror, narrowly missing a 5-series. Will be needing a new one as about 5 vehicles ran over it before i was able to retrieve it. Cheers Tom

Link Pricing for these is getting pretty reasonable?! Interesting at the moment you have your choice of colours on TM!

Back on topic- im in the same position as Cale, never have and never will smoke. My uncle was in critical condition a year or so back- not able to breathe. Kind of necessary. Not the sort of problem you want ever, let alone 50.
-
did the calculations- you could present that at a contribution of $4380 per annum, at 8% interest, they would have $1,225,440 after 40 years. even more appealing. thats like a ferrari and enough money to run it and buy tyres Compound Interest Calculator
-
Or retire with a new M3- thats a smart way to present it to kids Mr Miller. Would look even more appealing with BMW examples did you compound interest? or could that figure be much bigger?
-
im surprised, that doesnt look too bad. Front is very 6 series, love how low and wide the rear looks
-
my mate wanted to change to the newer style, just bent one of the plates at 90 degrees along the horizontal- sufficiently damaged to warrant new ones. (or you could just keep one for the garage wall and say it was lost) $14 and maybe some change, no problems.

i'd also have to say the x6, its the height of the never-gonna-go-offroader, and its main selling point (the dynamic ability for its size) is based on a big compromise of chopping the back off the car and killing rear headroom, and because they use it as the release model for their new trick-electronic differential. Without the diff, which could be in any of their models, the x6 would be really high and dry.
-
would that be the same bodykit as this? and based on a pre-facelift coupe im guessing? lots of customwork there.
-
Thats wild. Totally badass.
-
the main differences that come to mind are: Pre-Facelift: Chrome Bumpers Squarer Tail-Lights No Plate Frame Facelift: Plastic Bumpers Rounder Tail-Lights Either Jap - or euro - plate frames

whats up with the tips on it? (pic 15) some half open flaps whats that about?
-
is that what they're referred to as... Nick021's got some on his coupe and they look really mint. If you're making this a showy cruiser i would actually go smoked indicators and tails to look different to factory later models, LTW's, lowered and some europlates. Nice car, dont think you see full leather in 316i's all that often.

oh and only flaw i can see, those white front lip clips stick out like a sore thumb to me, you can get them in black just get them off someone parting out a facelift e30 which had an "i" lip, or spray them.
-
if i were you id spray the IS lip black to match the rest, remove the mudflaps, H&R lowering springs and black tech1 rear wing. Beautiful car mate, wish one was available when i was buying.

another option: Black Plates Blue Plates Their PlateBuilder (doesnt include the NZ tags but they do sell 'em)

you've been on here 8 months less than me but i guess you've got more to say! good stuff i will have to increase my post rate. One thing ive been wondering, i can't seem to find anything in the showroom of your touring! is it hidden away somewhere? If not im calling for a hot touring + bike thread in the showroom!
-
Thanks for the compliments. Some people may call it rude and opportunistic but if i didn't do it someone else would have, and compared to the market on plates.co.nz's resale my prices are reasonable. Rest assured if you buy one of the plates all proceeds go towards savings or my bimmer!!!

Oh all right. Back in 1989 the government issued trailers registration plates with one letter and 2 numbers combination. e30 was on some old custombuilt trailer 1978 until the registration was canceled in 1994. The land transport registry says you can re-register a govt. issued plate after it has been de-registered for more than five years. e30 has been sitting dormant for fifteen. I stumbled upon this on carfax and quickly gave plates a call, they checked with the registry and it was mine within an hour. But; something to note, just because its on carfax as registration canceled doesnt mean it's still available- as i found out with the rest of the e-codes. It just means someone else has possibly got there first and not registered it to a car yet.
