Also I have a problem with the right rear wheel bouncing when loosing traction, almost like axle tramp in an American car

Car is looking awesome. Look forward to seeing it again on the 31st.

Axle tramp? You need more power g!

I used to get wheel hop when losing traction. Can be caused from bad subframe bushes, trail arm bushes etc. I replaced all mine and still got it.

I only fixed the issue when swapping in a medium case diff. So it was the diff in my case... Didn't know why untilm I opened the original small case diff up to weld it that I noticed the spider gears had broken teeth. I'm guessing that was probably the cause.

Most common cause for wheel hop is the front diff bolt or other mounting bolts coming loose, will shake the diff during loss of traction.

Fixed the damn shaking, it turned out to be the gearbox bush's

on another note, cruise control works.........when it feels like it, You will be driving along then it will suddenly kick in, but im yet to be able to turn it on when I want to :( its freekin retarded

took it to a track day a while ago and it was going alright, till the the end of the day when the brake pedal started touching the floor, so today I finally took the calipers off to see what the damage was, we'llllll it ain't pretty

I think its time I get some new pads, currently I have $150 to spend on pads, any suggestions? At the moment im only doing the rears, but would like to get some front pads at the same time, looking for something that will last a few track days.

We've always run standard BMW on the rear, no problems at all, fronts are another story tho.

Genuine are around $80 from memory, but Repco brand are only around $55 last time I got some, and just as good.

+1 on rear pads, they seem to be fine unless your bias is wrong

EBC Greenstuff pads are $150 a pair or thereabouts. Pagid more still about $200-ish?

Pagid / EBC / Tarox are all good brands.

ended up getting bendex rears and roadhouse fronts from NZAD.co.nz, cost $130 all up, they are......ok, I wouldn't recommend them if your going to allot of track days, but they hold up alright. There all you need for a daily and 2 laps round a race track, anymore is to many.

I also have got my eyes on a particular 3s-ge :) but I should really do the bush's before I go adding HP :(

lastly I took some pics yesterday, bring on the summer cruises :)
