It looks like it, level sender might be a cut and attach wires.

the water level senders in E30's are quite simple. just N.C switches.

So yes, the beast lives, and i have been taking it around the block every now and again and also to the river where dogs run and bikers ride etc, its quite long and twisty and sealed so its like a road, and can have fun and find out the strange knocks and everything, of which there are none now

a couple years ago it used to be all gravel down there, was great fun hahaha

Yeah, the E30 bits just plug in.

Thats great will look into that. im not that bothered if the senders dont work.. i do know how to check the amount in the bottle manually lol but its a nice function to have if you can for free

flaw: bonnet now opens half way.

remedy: carry two 13mm spanners to quick release the spots at any time

You should hang em off the roof rack, and put a gun rack in the back while your at it

Does look pretty cool though, a little bit 1980's rallyish with the spots and wipers.

^ thats the look im going for with them, and exactly why i brought the headlight wipers for the car about 6 months ago off Ian/Hartage and still rocking the roof racks, both of which all the flatcaps/pants-on-the-ground types my flatmates bring home have told me to remove asap lol

have thought of a few different options but i dont want to have to realign them everytime i need to open the bonnet, but it may just have to be that way. ill come up with something ha. wish BMW didnt have reverse opening bonnets! such a PITA

Anything you could put together with old wing-mirror mounts, the ones that pivot 90 degrees and lock into place? Better still - electric ones!

my biggest hassle with that is mounting them. i dont want to drill into my bumpers because obviously they are tech2 ones not just standard E30 bumpers. these are mounting on the thin rail that goes between the bumper and the grill that is part of the valance which, should i need to, can replace for cheap as chips.

Up the top have a R Clip and down the bottom have a hinge and have 2 plastic screw clips thingys into were every you can put them =D
