I've heard mixed things about king springs...

some very very good (mainly race springs) other very bad (mainly road springs), the biggest complaint from the guys i know that complained about them was different settling heights.

BC Golds. Not enough height adjustment in the rear. Weak ass wheels. ~60mm ground to sump clearance.

+1 on avoiding street spec kings. havent used them in the rear but i used to run fronts and i found them too soft. car seemed just as prone to body roll despite being 50mm or so lower

That was my thoughts on Kings, I had them back in the day and they actually sagged over time… bugger all time.

How much does the King race springs lower the car though, it’s a F/L M325i and has the ghay lower in the back factory look at the moment.

I used to just cut coils until I found the correct stance but that’s a no no these days, what’s the deal with compressing springs to achieve desired stance?? Does it take the entire rate out of the spring leaving them saggy??

And yes I know I should get some H&R or Vogtlands but our man Keith has none in stock and not have any for a while.

I think Attas E30 had King springs in front?

Had a real nice stance too.

Coilovers for Stance win though :D

BTW: My H&R springs and rear bilstein shocks may be coming out in the next 3 weeks?

Call Snell springs. They can do it properly

Know what you mean, yellow on some cars doesn't look very good, couldn't imagine mine being any other colour now.

A bit too low i think, need the guards flared a wee bit. The wheels are 18x8.5 i think?
