E30 325i Rag-Top 2956 Report post Posted August 15, 2017 Managed the "grand slam" over the week-end, got to drive all of my Bimmers, a very rare feat as they are hardly ever all running / legal at the same time. F30 company car - poodling about town, etc. Took the wife's E46 wagon to tow the E30 race car to Hampton Downs and back, then pulled the E30 'vert out of the garage to blow the cobwebs out as it was such a nice day on Sunday. Overall quite happy, a few little niggles to look at, but nothing too major.

eliongater 718 Report post Posted August 19, 2017 Washed the e46 and I'm currently in the middle of swapping the e28 fuel filter and putting the exhaust back on. As you can see it was definitely due for a change.

NakiTouring 54 Report post Posted August 20, 2017 Busy readying my replacement N54 longblock. Shiny new turbos bolted up today. I'd really hate to do that job with the engine in situ. Not too far to go before I can shoehorn it all back into the E91 :-)

I did, Olaf nailed it - not a lot of space when removing the 4 critical nuts/bolts, steering rack & sway bar in the way. Ball joint nut directly under strut...etc In other news, E39 EWS issues so the car doesn't want to start...DME being sent to Ray today for some magic.
