Recommended Posts

I hope you guy's don't mind. I thought rather than start a new thread, I would tail onto this thread. As I would like to finish the thread with a good ending!!

I have purchased the Cab of James, and have been quite busy with it in the last four weeks! and thought its about time for an update.

- first on the list was a full groom

- wof & reg

- Manual Conversion @ HellBM (Thanks Ray car drives so much better now!)

- New roof installed.

that should be fixable? looks like it needed a repaint anyways. if your kit is like the real one, that part is seperate from the bumper

I have the same ramps as you by the looks.

I welded some 500mm steel plates 1/3 way up to smooth the accent and reduce that nasty angle to avoid any scraping of the front bumper.

Whats wrong with the fuel guage?

If its showing incorrect level, take out the cluster and sand the terminals on the back of the fuel gauge once its removed.

Or replace it.

Could be a fuse? Swap your hazard light fuse with your fuel gauge one (if it is the problem), or buy a new fuse

Oh yes. Is that the switch top right corner next to gear knob? I think it is that however have had all the console out! And cannot find the two spade bit connectors that plug into the switch? Any other ideas cheers guys.

Have you removed the drivers side dash panel under steering wheel. Was there a switch on the panel that you also removed? This is common in an e28 and when you unplug the switch all windows will stop working. Maybe a similar switch...?

The panel was off when I purchased the car!

I cant see any dangling wires, only the headlight adjuster.

Thanks. There is no wire(spade conections to be seen anywhere have had the carpet up!) so cant connect to the switch!

Yeah sounds good, just give us a text first! What day was you thinking?

Cheers.
