kingkarl 136 Report post Posted July 23, 2014 Go somewhere far removed for a month to consider my options. Then hopefully arrive at something like this: Pay off student loan - $30k Racing car of some description $50k Late model euro of some description, probably an f10 m5 or 550d. Maybe even a maserati quattroporte or whatever the new one is called. $100-$150k Travel/ski until I get bored of it $100k Bank $500k on call and the remaining $3.5m in term deposit. Finally I would speculate the remaining $500k in financial markets. I would continue renting until house prices/rents normalize. No point buying a $1.5m house in Auckland that nets maybe 2% p.a. - some other sucker can take the other side of that trade. I would quit my job and try my best to keep the winnings secret/formulate a really good cover story.I would tip good customer service people with Rutherfords.

mjh 26 Report post Posted July 23, 2014 As per post number 4 - booze and hookers. Seriously - Ferrari 275 GTB 4 cam. Will double in money within a few years. Alternatively a 288 GTO, F50 and Enzo. That would just scrape into the budget on a good day.

Start a small Business to keep the Money Flowing. Buy a large Roman/Persian style villa in my country of origin. Buy an E36 M3 or the E92 M3 & Make it faster (Buy both if I'm feeling too Greddy). keep leading a lonley life as like Romanian Prince Dragul, as I too lack family to claim & belong to..... MoJoJoe 46 Report post Posted July 23, 2014 ^doubt 5m is enough for your lifestyle 5M? easy, use 5M to make that figure 50M, and then proceed to spend. I have had a multimillionaire tell me that it is the first 10 million that is the hardest to make. the subsequent numbers to 50m is easy Property is quite cheap where I am from. for like $200K you can get one of the biggest mansons (quadrople the size of anything in the west. With all the bells and whistles, while 50K - 100K is what you would need for a small student type apartment in Scandenevia. And ecconomy is also bad in Greece & Italy... I'm not too gredy, but I love the idea of turning 5M into 50M, I do have some savings but not sure how to make more out of what I got apart from buying and selling peanuts.
