Where do people buy their tires? (Auckland)

Hi guys,

I was curious to see where people buy their tires and if anyone has any recommendations for a good tire shop (installation and balancing with good equipment). Looks like there a fair amount of options with local tire shops, chain shops and hyperdrive.

I use Tyre City just out of Newmarket. I don’t think they’re the cheapest but apparently they do a lot of overflow work for the various dealers (BMW, Mercedes etc) and I’ve always had good experiences with them.

If you are after runflats or Michlen Pilot super sports then BMW dealer will be the cheapest

I'm surprised two posters have listed Hyper. I've always found them incredibly expensive.....

second that, looked at hyper and seemed to be more expensive. A part of this too so I want a good installer that wont damage rims and also does a good balancing job.

Hyper are good when deals are on. Some brands and sizes are overpriced while some are under. Used to use Bridgestone quite a bit but you gotta find the right branch.
