NZ BMW 368 Report post Posted April 10, 2019 So what’s the name of the business they are liquidating?

Yep, all deliveries are from FCPEuro and then they added their own margin. Seemed to supply a fair few body shops based on the outbound packages i saw every time I was there. @NZ BMW - I think they're trading as Ladies Mile Motors although I'm not sure if that's the name of the LLC.
Jacko 2157 Report post Posted April 10, 2019 Some interesting bits there, lots of panels and lights for E30-E90ish gens. craploads of chinese E39/90 window regulators. Odd wheels, couple of M5x engines in various states, and random junk in piles. What looked like an entire new E87 118i rear subframe with diff and shocks etc, all new, but very corroded outside. M3AN 4016 Report post Posted April 11, 2019 The sale will be on for more than one day if what was left at 16h is an indicator. I'm pretty sure some of the piles are literally trash but if you want the odd bit it might be worth a trip. Lot's of DME's and control units from ~91 to ~04 but very few with keys or chips. Also lots of bumper support bars for some reason. As above, lots of odd wheels f you're looking for some, most with rubbish tyres and none are particularly desirable. I picked up some exhaust tips for the 328 that I spied there about a year ago but he wanted $60, I offered $40 and no-go. Picked them up today for $10. 1

M3AN 4016 Report post Posted April 11, 2019 I'm not sure I would have recognised it even if I were looking! So I can't be any help there sorry...

zero 1162 Report post Posted April 11, 2019 Why do these opportunities always arise when I'm broke? Was there any new parts there, like gasket sets, water pumps etc?

modz 148 Report post Posted April 22, 2019 I went and bought some parts, but nothing there to really chase. As others have said, lots of parts but mostly for auto / base model cars, HEAPS unlabelled - even the owner didn't know what some was. No interesting engines left or manual gearboxes. Fair few bumpers in various states of repair. No full sets of wheels etc. A lot of the 'good' stuff had already been spoken for before opened to the public. Which left a heck of a lot of scrap metal...
sobanoodle 45 Report post Posted April 22, 2019 A lot of those Chinese bits are now reappearing all over TM and Facebook. Like M3/M5 style bumpers and grilles.
