Sight-unseen lesson learnt

4 or 5 grand would be my wild stab in the dark. You don't see that interior too often, she's looking good.

Definitely needs a suspension refresh. Rear bags are mint but front is tired. I'd be happy  with $4k. Might try my luck on Facebook before paying the fees on TM.

Yeah i think 5k tops. 3.5k-4k region probably more realistic given most E39 have rooted suspension.

Congrats on the job - sounds exciting!

Where did you do the pics? Looks a great spot.

And that interior looks like a fantastic place to be on a winters morning.

Are the wheels genuine m5 wheels?
They arent cheap if it is

I'm unsure. Forgot to look when I had the wheels off. Its a square set so I doubt someone got two halves of different sets. Tyres are 245/45/18. I'll whip the wheels off tomorrow.

Looking damn good. Amazing what some care and good photos can do, compared to the previous listing.

Thanks! Yea it's a big pet peeve of mine, shitty listings. It's a confusing car because it has had 1000s/year spent on it from his local workshop but the guy also never seemed to vacuum/clean it?

It's by no means mint but it's halfway there. A really good base for a project and some further TLC. The interior and its interior condition is the biggest selling point. Also M52, who doesn't love M52s?

So the dude manual converted it and is now parting it out less than a year later? Wonder what's happened there

I think quite a lot of people think they can do a manual conversion and realise they have bitten off more than they can chew when they get to the finishing details. Coding, wiring etc. Just picked up a 130i in the same situation that I'm going through the process of finishing the coding, and tidying it up. I wonder if that's what happened with this car.
