Kees 594 Report post Posted July 31, 2022 (edited) Spotted this. Sub 40K for an NZ New, M3 Coupe, pretty sure its factory manual since its NZ New and listed as such on carjam. Seems a bit of a bargain?! I've actually seen this car in person frequenting Queenstown and it does need a variety of cosmetic things remedied but has decent bones. I actually took a few photos of it because I thought it looked rather tasty especially with the mountains in the backdrop. From memory the interior needs a full overhaul. Here is the link: https://www.trademe.co.nz/a/motors/cars/bmw/m3/listing/3705220724 Here are the photos I took of it in February 2021. Eagle 1662 Report post Posted August 1, 2022 Is it really a bargain though? Fixing all the cosmetic issues, do all the guaranteed deferred maintenance and mechanical work, then maybe do preventative subframe repairs and rod bearings, easy 10k+ right off the bat .

Yeah agreed. I'd say, given the recent pull-back in prices, that it seems about bang-on to me given the mileage, condition and big 3 needing to be addressed. KwS 2425 Report post Posted August 1, 2022 The condition of it in the listing screams an owner that does the typical Kiwi bare minimum to keep it on the road. This gear knob disgusts me. Who wants to put their hand on that every time they drive it? 1

Glacial Pace 32 Report post Posted August 2, 2022 Saw this one yesterday, was considering going and viewing but it just seemed like it was going to need a lot of work done to it in the near future. Still waiting for a cheap e92 that's not to horrendous to come along.
