Hi Ron, According to my physics calculations, it still flows out the exhaust. Hope this helps. Cheers.

Gumboot Rally #2 over - and what an adventure! The car's theme came together well over the space of a few months, and went down a treat. I've picked up & installed a couple more parts since last update too, CSL brake pads & carbon fiber rear deck spoiler to match the diffuser:

http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?615864-344i-almost-complete About half way through they come up with a pretty clever option for sump clearance after issues with dry sump, leaving oil pump in default location and modifying pickup.

Nothing wrong with the K`s ...you`ll end up doing a Julian, turning the car into a masterpiece, then selling it to buy an 840

Compare apples with apples Mike. Roo's E34 is a pretty much direct comparison year on year for your engine, there's a 4kw difference, which could have been manufacturers tolerance when new. You can get good power out of either motor, 80kw is pretty optimistic for a reworked, road going motor especially without FI of some sort. Josh's S50B32 is only 64kw.

Cheaper to get a forged stroker kit

Good work Amber ... looking good. You are much better at pulling stuff apart than some of my male counterparts!!

Others will know more but applying some sound deadening to your doors may help with the rattle - dynamat etc.

You could always dry sump it!

Hypothetical costs with a basic B8 replica derived from a stock M3. I suspect this would be about right if there were no errors.

Stuck on with the stuff below. I initially used 3m double-sided adhesive, it is BAD. This stuff sticks like sh*t to a blanket. It's about $9/roll, and you need at least 2 rolls for a spoiler this size

The darker colour really looks reminiscent of the the e30 tech1 spoiler I love so much, looks great. How is it mounted? Adhesive or fasteners? Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk

surely BMW AG should be involved at this age or is it a high km engine? Not the smashed up rim in the second pic, there is a long story there, crashed and then burnt out??

Good man Richard, will be good to check it out at a meet some day!

Congrats on the buy! You finally pulled the trigger!

But, if BMW thought the E34 was a betterer car with a V12 in it they would have built one?

Picked up some stagged motorsport wheels and tyres off an old friend for $100! Perhaps the find of the year? Gotta look at selling the LM reps now. How much would some 17x8 wheels with 3 month old tyres all round fetch me? I got, what I would consider as lowballed on facebook.

Paid a man in Auckland some money for his E36 M3. Now to wait for the truck to bring it down to me.
