It's apparently not obvious to you Mr Toblerone & really that's no surprise to the rest of us following this thread ,but ownership does not an expert make. And every time you have posted on this thread you have served to reinforce this!!

Tobias you are an absolute toss pot. You're an idiot for coming on a BMW forum with only one mind for 7 series and insulting everybody else and their pride and joy, oh and not to mention cracking the most pathetic joke of somebody who has passed away, you sir, have no decent manner of anything left in your head. You progressed to being banned off multiple Facebook Groups because of your incapable comprehension of respect and decency, and I'm just waiting for you to destroy your reputation on here.. Oh wait, you already have.

So why are you still driving doggy old second hand 7 series instead of the latest Quattroporte?

Brought this 1986 BMW 525e Manual recently to be a daily driver, however my work has given me a work car so this guy is no longer required. Runs fine, drives well, really cheap on gas. Its a bit rough but perfectly servicable. Excellent project or cheap runabout for someone. m20b27 perfect for a stroker project. Getrag 260 5 speed. seems fine. The only downfall is that it has been pained flat black, badly... however this would probably come off with some paint stripper and some patience. Current WOF and REG. Car is in Papamoa at the moment, but could deliver to Auckland at the right price. $2000 ono.

For a 750il the one on tardme actually appears to be pretty poverty spec in its options. Its definitely not "highly optioned". hell, most of the 740s on tardme are better optioned.

i paid $1200 for the 750iL sitting in my driveway at the moment, and i still think i overpaid. just because its rare doesn't mean its valuble.

Stock rear mufflers going in today. Also some maintenance work to be carried out this weekend : The lower oil separator hoses look like fun to replace... I suspect some cursing at crimp-type hose clamps nested down in a tight space will be the order of the day.

Definitely keep an eye out for the Powerbuilt ones. Then get something else.

Look at what Mr FedExaclause dropped off for me to take over to the shop. Large box with fragile written all over it. I wonder what it could be.....

Have seen a couple of those ally units crap out, one over time and the other while lifting a '74 XJ6 at the diff. Needless to say it got ripped apart and taken to the scrappies fairly quickly. Never seen a workshop use an alloy jack......just sayin'

Like hotwire has said you need a Euro radio tuner\module like a BM24. Replace it with the one in the back of the boot and you done or swap in an aftermarket unit like Dynavin or similar.

haha There is one e34 525i on trademe at the moment. I guess that makes me the owner of an exceptionally rare car... Well me and the other 400,000+ people globally who have one

Undoubtedly a very special mint example.....but it's not highly optioned.......it's not rare ....& it's def not worth $14k And btw Mr toblerone I would suspect Jared has owned, driven, learnt more about BMWs than you've had farts......uneducated? I think not!
