Thanks for the info I wanted. as for the other well not so wanted comments sort of asked for it. I considered keeping the 328i and ditching the "3" in M3 and have M328i as I have seen on alot of other M-spec'd models. But it's my car I like it how it is and general consesus can suck my left nut. I hate conformists!

Avoid that taiwanese crap at all costs. I have their stuff on my Hiace, have to readjust it getting it sitting right once every few months. Go genuine or go home in my opinion, goes for mechanical parts too

Welcome to the forums, and congrats on purchasing one of the best BMW M cars! Pics?

I would look at the first tyre and say "these aren't brand new" and back out of the deal. Auction states "brand new" yet the tyres have clearly been used, not much, but a bit - all the moulding bristles have worn off.

Re bumpers you can research this online as it was all done to death by the yanks . From memory their are 3 different type bumpers for the e39 standard, M sport and M5 as Andrew mentioned the bumpers mounts may all be the same. BUT its BMW and their is always a but the attachments and some of the under panels are different also the air brake duct method , type of fog lights, lower bumper mesh etc etc. Just research it a little and you will get a better understanding of what it en tales.

Good examples are rare. I used mine daily for a while but it's become more of a weekend car. I now don't use it as much as it should be (I also get reminded of the space it's using in the garage a lot). I toy with selling it, but can't quite let go. Good luck with the sale, someone is going to be very happy with their purchase.

I've only thrown it up here so far. I've had a few questions through PM. I don't need to sell it right now as I don't need to change cars until December but I know sometimes these things can take sometime so I thought I would start here to see if I can't get her the best new home I can. She deserves that much. If I get the right offer then i'd deal with the issues of dropping to a 1 car family. Maybe i'll bike to work. In October i'll list on trademe. See how that goes. If it takes sometime, well it does. I can't say I don't enjoy driving it in the meantime. Good examples of these are becoming very rare indeed.

Drill the head off, go slow, use a bit slightly larger than the bold thread. There'll be no tension on the bolt once the head has gone so will come out easy after that. If the filter drops away you'll have a fair bit of exposed thread to grab with vice grips.

Because funnily enough, you don't have to know english to make money.
