Went a bit nuts on the wax and coated it 3 times and tooth brush cleaned it all.

I would suggest steering clear of all 4 cylinder engines in that model range ie: N42 & N46 . They have been built to recycle oil & water for our children by introducing these products into the ground via our motorways & roads, or in our workshop door ways

Few hours spent sanding and grinding the surface rust away (Even with a mask, my nostrils are blocked pretty dang well, smells like man and metal). Then went over with a scrubber sponge and meths. Wiped down with some watered-down rust converter then once dry, a few rough coats of primer to help identify all imperfections that need to be fixed before Saturday, hopefully there aren't too many to do. Will give it a decent wet sand on Friday. Have also ordered some decent heating lamps from JA Russell, those should arrive over the next few days along with 3L of Hippo Deck Liner.

Thanks I was actually rendering some photos for another website im building and I couldn't believe the amount of work that's been done AND that's still to be done. But baby steps ah sh*t yes it is, hence why I wont be painting it, especially for the colour I want. Amber has the colour sample at CarFolie of the colour im after, so if I cant get it painted in that colour, it will be wrapped. Not a bad idea, im actually opening a "workshop" next year in Mount Wellington and I already have a paint booth, needs some TLC and I have to get it brought up from my cousins workshop in Gordonton, but once its up and going with fans and heat lights, will probably rent it out to BimmerSport members. ps, I just figured out how to use the MultiQuote thingy...

No. You are passing people on the motorway at say 105kph, then come up behind 4-7 car cluster f**k being held up by a lead lemming... so, you put your Ninja mask on and sniper them out with a swerve in front of them from the inside. This is a dangerous move and not fair on the tailgating lemmings just sitting behind him... but its immensely pleasing when they loose their sh*t and freak out. Wake the f**k up and get real people, its a passing lane, if you are not passing, get the f**k out of it and if you cant handle your car, get off the road. This move also works well on people who speed up to block you out on either the motorway or passing lanes, guarantied they will jam on their brakes and take a good few seconds to figure out what just happened, like a dazzled possum. Yes I am an arshole. I apologize if it was your mum driving.

The BMW race series isn't run by the BMW car club. But as all race series entrants require a motorsport affiliated car club we all have BMW car club memberships. Put a cage in it and enter Group B. I looked into the time attack event a little while back. Was impossible to get any info from them. Results were available with digging around on Facebook but NO times were listed. For a Time Attack event I would have thought the Times were most important. A friend ran his Type R Integra in the street class a while back. There was 3 cars in the class. He sat around most of the day and got a couple of very short runs. Said he would never bother again. Also Tom. The horrible sounding front tugging Honda's are only faster as we have minimum time restrictions in the BMW series. They don't. Plus they are Honda's. Nobody cares how fast they are.

I wouldn't have thought it a conflict of interest but you're probably right... People get precious about these sort of things. Still, if you go through due process, engage them all, etc - I don't see why it couldn't run successfully in parallel. Wouldn't be the same cars, even if it's a few of the same drivers!

Poor Schnitzel. First she gets a new friend.. I saw the jealousy instantly with a squeaky belt Pop up... And then I make her look ridiculous with a makeover so wild she can be spotted everywhere she goes!

Mmmhmm. BMW Car Club.. BMW Race Series? Or aren't they the same group? Idk. Or Maybe the race series should add a stock street Class for us "incapableofaffordingtrackcarsgroup"

Setup a BMW specific one Amber :P superlap BMWs Divided in - Non modified street class (fully stock cars bar perhaps better tyres, brakes and maybe suspension and minor engine mods - semi slicks allowed) - modified street class (for heavily modified cars ... with engine transplants, aero work, ect ... slicks allowed) - racecars/open (caged ect) Single lap practice run ... timed run ... and one cool down lap. Personally I think there would be enough interests and participants just from BMW owners.

At the moment one of my rages (that hasn't already been mentioned) are the rotten swine that scoot past the traffic queue in a turning lane, then merge back into the traffic down the road. Mostly happens in Wellington heading towards the terrace tunnel, they'll take the Willis st lane and cut across at the lights. Dangerous, annoying and only holds up the traffic more. For some reason it usually happens in moderate traffic, so there's still good flow. They maybe only save 20 secs at best, beats me why they do it. Sheer arrogance in my opinion. Yesterday a white Lexus did it and I'll be damned if I didn't consider putting 1.6 tonnes of German bumper against the side of their car. That's one thing I like about the e32, bumpers that bump. Those meaty plastic shields have had a few scrapes by dullards with no concept of spatial awareness over the years. Mostly car parks or someone attempting to cut across a few lanes in traffic. Grab $2-50 cash off the offending driver, light sand, plastic paint and she's as good as new Modern bumpers are sleek but if you use them they crumple and scratch.
