I will be using Ray for it as the job he did on the Schnitzer was perfect, and so was my old M3. The plates are customised with Ray But I believe the ECS tuning brand are good

I would have thought the price is actually pretty decent for what it is. For someone whos wanting to spend $56k on a car, this is probably not the right choice. But for someone whos wanting to buy a Z3M Coupe, $56k is not bad at all IMO. I personally would rather buy that Z4M Roadster and get mocked for having a hairdressers car than drive a shoe but each to their own... but certainly no point comparing this to an E30 M3 or an E39 M5...

I know this might be a bit of a how long is a piece of string question, but who would be considered to be the best BMW engine builder in the country?? Looking for someone to build me a spare CSL engine with all stock parts.

The last ones travelled over 40,000ks always on and still going today. I don't like the "in your face" look of the LED, doesn't look factory at all. CCFL have a nice light, colour and factory touch to them

So whats the old motor, and whats the new motor? Is it 1uz and 3uz?

Rarity Unique looks Lighter than an E36 and E46 M3 Sit lower and much closer to the rear axle Faster steering rack than the E36 and E46 Investment potential

I've been quiet.. sitting in the background.. thinking of things to do.. My list grows! But in the last week: - CCFL Angel Eyes ordered - 7500k Fogs ordered Seems my Vogtland springs aren't sitting captive, so need to sort this.. But she is hardly driven at present so keeps slipping the mind. But got some shots of her, she's still sitting semi-pretty Inspection II, Subframe are also on the to-do soon... Needing a lotto ticket as the list grows!

Perhaps not a lot....i'd go for an Evo M3 anyday, great value for money, atm! The Roadster is slightly lighter than an E36 Sedan / Coupe M3 Evo? Can't remember....but if you were to spend wisely...a good deal on a well looked after Evo M3 would be better for the account haha, and for much much less $$$....all down to rarity and preference for M-owners i guess.

Bump before I make a perspex box and turn it into a coffee table LOL

Rarity, yes, desirability.... probably not. Can even get an E39 M5 and have some change left over for that much.

These are a special one off performance model Ron. Very hard to come buy and have less incidences off massive oil leak and cooling system problems. because off the larger block size and increased water gallery sizes. I think it's called a M43B30 / 4

Hmm that might work, just need anything that can regulate to around 44 to 50psi, so 3 bar will just do it. Just putting the 3uz 4.3 V8 into my Soarer. 20% more power, 23% more torque over the original engine.

[offtopic] if the crash is serious enough, they can pull information including the coding data from the ABS module in the lab in wellington to determine all sorts of things. This includes what the car was shipped from the factory as. [/offtopic]

As far as I am aware an auto to manual swap needs a cert. You are making a significant change to what the car you have came out of the factory with. You need to check the hobby car manual. But from my conversations with certifiers is it needs a cert. Just get the cert. It will be about 350 and save you many issues . If you went to sell it uncerted I would not buy it unless it was stupid cheap.
