Know the owner and like many here collects a few BMWs. I'm really surprised he's letting this one go. All his cars are immaculate and this one is no exception. Buy with confidence.

Been on for awhile now, i considered buying it until i realized it was an auto. Different rims i agree and colour matched body kit would look even nicer.

looks amazing but personally dont think the wheels suit the car very well. needs some phat 5 spoke wheels imo..

Nice car, although I may be biased! Pretty much a twin of my one. I replaced the interior wood trim with silver trim from my old sedan and the wider rear rims as the tourings aren't staggered. Also I think the genuine m sport front bumpers are around $1200 from memory, we had one replaced via insurance after someone backed into us.

It's a far cry from what it was back then! I sunk 3k into it after buying it. Did heaps to it. Chris has done a great job at cleaning it up even more!

And to think this was sold for $7500 less than 2 years ago. Looks good now, GLWS.

Check the wiring from the sensors. My 328 would not start one day and after a week of phaffing about I contacted brent at bmworld. He suggested looking at the wiring on the crank sensor. He was spot on. I checked the cam sensor wiring as well and ditto, all the insulation was just crumbling at my finger tips, causing a short between the wires.

We'll see how they run, will update if they are crap, it won't take long to work it out

In case anyone is interested the head won and I went with a 2l, manual, 06 Ford Focus Zetec. After a couple of months it's doing around 6.2l/100km which means just over 800km to a tank costing $96. It's surprising nice to drive to be honest. Nothing special but it's comfortable (I'm 6'5) and can fit four large kids in easily enough.
