so, after 6 years of running a pair of e36's out on the speedway we have decided it is time to expand our knowledge and depart the dirt and build a track car. very shortly after this decision, we picked up a very tidy 323 factory motorsport which has had 1 owner for the last 16 years whilst being looked after increadibly well. it appears to have been garaged for nearly all of its life! (insert "its too good for a racecar" comments here ) the car has only done 120*** km and is very very tight in the suspension the interior is nearly immaculate, half leather motorsport the list of ideas for this project get longer and longer every day, but the amount of cool stuff we are doing is also growing rapidly! so far the list consists of: Manual conversion 8 point cage (basic kit arriving this week) e46 330 brake conversion with braided lines force fed brake cooling setup with fog light mounted intake ducts aluminum rear sub frame bushings along with sub frame reinforcement floor mounted sifter with adjustable throw, also dsgg style sifter linkage adjustable front and rear splitters adjustable sway bar linkages with polyurethane bushes have a set of genuine m3 mirrors to go on engine plans we are not 100% sure what we are doing yet, but there is a distinct possability that one of the s50b32 engines will find its way into the engine bay whilst doing the manual conversion this week, if not we will stick with the m52 and go with a forced induction setup Everything that we are making, is being made in a way which is easy to make a few of, so if there is anything that you see and would like a set made, just sing out! there is probably a lot of stuff i have missed off the list!

Season 3 just started, nice montage of what's ahead. man they get some great scenic shots of locations camera work is outstanding as usual. first episode is a set in detroit and about american muscle cars, 1000hp with a 2.9 qtr supercharger and is complete madness as usual. very sad about detroit tho. From the richest city in USA to the poorest. worth it just to watch the McLaren senna a car I have never heard of break all lap records by seconds,

I've had a few dealings with 3 members on here recently. I couldn't see anywhere where you could give feedback or recommend people - there are a few comments made on some posts in the "For sale" section but thought I'd prefer to give feedback on all three because they were so good to deal with. @Scrambler - pedal box turned up today, thank you. Great communication from him regarding delays (hope you're feeling better now). @OP6 - have dealt with him both here and on TradeMe, both times were hassle free and great communication. @fizzychicken - another great one to deal with, super fast to pay, great communication. I would recommend all 3 of these guys with any dealings.

Hi John Wow, that's one expensive motor. EBay pricing for a 54347193448 gives - motor only NZ$330 delivered, you need to be able to do the motor change on the hydro unit - complete Hydro unit NZ$920 delivered (around 4 -6 weeks delivery time) Bet the BMW dealer will only put the new motor back into original position, ready for it to fill with water again and fail. Better off doing the job yourself and doing a relocation job at the same time. I have not had to do a hydro relocation on a Z4 but have an electrical fitting background and I'm willing to give you a hand. I'm based in Timaru. Regards Murray

i would say a lot of people would be similar...hmm might do some work on the car this weekend,off to the dealerr for this and that...wtf closed.No wonder most people who do their own work get parts from the interwebz

Slight update- Style 24s have since been sold and replaced with BBS RK 17x8s. I've also replaced the front control arms as the old ones were knackered. Pro tip- if doing this job, it is made 10x easier if you spray some CRC/WD40 on the thread before you try and remove the outer balljoint that connects onto the hub.. the first one took me a while. I also had a good friend of mine polish the car to bring up the Cosmo Schwartz shine. It's coming along slowly but surely.

@MikeHancox just sold a motor to him, easy to deal with, friendly guy and great communication. Would trade with him again.

I'd ask the question publically before I contacted the seller directly. If they have nothing to hide they won't mind providing all the information they can. How they answer the question, evasive or forthcoming, will influence how I perceive them as a seller. It's also a good practice to have a written record of questions and answers. I think your assumption that because somebody asks a question on an auction they're not a genuine buyer is wide of the mark. Too many sellers (of all sorts of stuff) think they're doing buyers a favour by listing something and that's arse about face, it's the sellers obligation to do the actual selling. Like answering a WTB post with "yes, have some" and not including a price.

Plus, as you’ve “just bought it” you have statutory rights as to “goods of merchantable quality”. if it’s jerky, and unacceptable to you, it matters not that a scan reveals nothing. Get informed on your rights, and push it back on the dealer. You might need a lawyer, but better a pet crocodile than a pup, eh?
