Well there's a full set of the e30 audio gear including tweeters just popped up in For Sale...... Why play around with tapes when you could download onto a dedicated ipod (or whatever)? I have stockpiled a few Alpine amps from the late 80s/early 90s for a play at some stage. They are cheapish, reliable and er, period correct? I have 4/5/6 channel amps. What about the underseat flat subs if you're chasing bass fill, not doof doof?

Well that went by quickly! I renewed the insurance yesterday. Has it really been a year since Andy and I went up to the Krazy, Kool, Kapiti Coast to check out this 'almost barn-find e30 316i'? I was reflecting on how it drove back then, when I was driving it last Sunday. I came back from the market with my fresh fish and veges to find some thirty-something women admiring the car. I just smiled. I think it's nearly time I got a valuation and upped the insurance. I politely declined the insurer's suggestion that the value had dropped $450 over the last year, and instead maintained the value originally insured at. I figured it wasn't worth trying to up it on the phone, and that a valuation would be most efficient. So, "happy anniversary Grey Thunder". Here's to the next year, and figuring out the items on the list above!

Thanks for your input but in case you missed it, its not my car and I'm just trying to help a widow sell her husbands 850 which would be only 1 of a few in NZ. The whole purpose of this thread is to work out a value for her hence why it's in the discussion section and not the for sale section. I'll let you get back to your day job

These were on my e46 when I purchased it, now surplus to requirements. There is some curbing, the 2 tyres included are fairy sad and one of the wheels is a tad square... Located in Wellington. Thinking $100? Let me know if I’m way off.

More fallout from the e30 build that never happened. This is still in an unopened box in the lockup - needs to go. $750. Pickup only, Wellington. This one: https://www.tunershop.co.uk/h-r-suspension-kit-40663-1-for-bmw-3er-e30-lim-sedan.html Thanks!

@Olaf I’ve been considering it. It would be my 3rd m30. This one is likely to be he easiest to get installed though

What, you not going to try and sell it for 30+k like the other dreamers out there?! Seems like a sharp price for a rare car, in a lovely colour.

I'm thinking art project. Can you re-work them into a tiara for your forthcoming nuptials?

Im assuming this is one of the electric aerials that go in the rear guard - if so I may have one, as I have a few electric aerials that have been pulled from wrecks over time - but you would need to have a look to see if its the one you are looking for.......

Given the circumstances, and the fact it’s free stuff from an all round genuine Bimmersporter, pics are not required for this post. Thanks, Admin.

Yup, sold it back in June before i went overseas on holiday, to someone that randomly contacted me after I had stopped listing the car. Nothing I did fixed the idle issue, and the new owner wasnt bothered by it. Sold for 12 or 13k, as is with no reg/wof/cert. Should be up in Auckland again, and getting a widebody.
