checked the lot, book is full of continental stamps, property dev so shuttling between auck and Taupo almost everyday. tyres, rotors and pads are new, was done at last WOF ( failed last warrant due to these I gather) I like that it is still like brand new on the inside.

I feel that no servicing for 60k before a failure just shows how well the vehicle was built!

I can't decide which to keep and sell so I'll let you folk decide for me. Set of 5 style 5s, 17x8 e20 with hub rings as they are off an e39 $1100 have centre caps and tyres are 205/40 and one 225/45? ACS type 1 'monoblocks' 17x8.5 et13 $1800 Both sets in original condition and reasonably tidy for their age. Curbing on a couple of them as shown in photos

Or any of the ones talking about SCR (ad-blu) or any of the other US features not fitted on NZ models, or even US models not offered in NZ. It’s a factor with all these “bigger” BMW sites they are heavily biased to US or EU drivers as that is where the vast majority of their users are based. That looks to be a US biased site. Sounds like a good deal to me. So many buyers are put off by the high Kms number, but if the car has been looked after (and it sounds like it has) then it’s an opportunity for the discerning buyer.

Awesome car, I love them. Some nice upgrades too! I’d be interested in the kidneys if you’re getting rid of them, my new 130i ? desperately needs its ones replaced.

Your car has a clone, with a decent sounding exhaust note as well

Probably already done it, but i'd recommend stage 2 personally. Stage 3 was very harsh outside of driving in normal "auto" mode, banging into gears pretending its a DCT. I went down to Stage 2 and felt it was a much better fit, with improved shift speed over standard, but without the hardness of S3. This was on a Stage 2+ FBO E91.

I doubt you could rack up 50,000kms a year crawling in Auckland traffic so chances are it’s been on fairly long hot runs, which would be a plus - keeps the top end cleaner. If the servicing has been regular, and not scrimped on, should be all good. Not totally km related but I would check how much life is left in the major wear items like tyres, pads, rotors, etc as they could add a few $$$s soon if they are well down.

That’s interesting because I got 12K on trade in for my 2007 4.8 non-msport at Auckland City BMW... I think it ended up at a used dealership with blacked out wheels (yuck) and sold for closer to 20k. I only had 120k on the clock though. I have a set of Brembo front pads and rotors left behind for anyone is in need of some - still in boxes.
