OMG only just found this thread. This is my old 130i (I always regretted selling it - amazing car). I'd wondered what happened to it and now I know! Good to see that she is much loved

Looking for a kick panel underneath the steering column, looking for one with barely any damages or refurb required. Please let me know if you have one available. Thank you.

Hi there. Christchurch based, West Melton. First post, member for some time when I had a 2007 335 Coupe but never posted and moved it on as I'm a liitle less able to climb in and out of them as I used when "I wore a younger man's clothes"!! Moving on a few years and I'm back where I belong. 2001 740i in Titan Silver with black leather. Had a 2001 in Anthracite with grey Nappa leather back in Aus but sold it when we retired over here just over 7 years ago. Regretted the sale ever since. Fast forward to today when I picked this up. Came down from the North Island. One owner, 88k on the clock and M pars factory supplied. All original paperwork with vehicle from Shelley BMW in Wellington, $160k new!! Absolutely beautiful with only a few niggly things to fix. Cheers Archie

The ACS Type IV's were already on it. I knew the previous owner, and like me, he was fastidious about his cars. And I'm borderline OCD where I'll replace anything that needs replacing - inside and out. People love buying my cars as they know they're getting a minter haha. Funny as I had "NZ New Manual 130i" in my Trade Me watch list for ages after selling it in case it popped back up. I totally would have bought it back And you're right in that most of them are all imports and there are even fewer manuals.

Second. Bought it when I still lived in Welly (traded my also much loved 540i M-Sport for it). Then it came up to Auckland with me in 2013. Honestly, even in stock form, it has been one of my most memorable cars. The only thing missing was a LSD (which, among many things, I see you have remedied).

I bought a plastic one from Aus, Mr Body Kit, it’s really good quality and didn’t cost that much. Way better than other second hand options I looked at!

Damn, if these were the correct profile for me I'd be all over them, I need 225/40 and 255/35. Sharp price for the right car, GLWS.

Looking to buy a replacement boot-mounted toolkit or the tools included for my 328. Don’t care about condition. Cheers!

@zero not any hard evidence necessarily but there is anecdotal evidence of people still getting cracking after epoxy foam and underside plates. The issue is that it does not solve the problem and just redirects the load path to the wheel arches where there are spot welds that start to pop and separate the RACP from the chassis. The biggest dissuader for me is that the epoxy foam makes it incredibly difficult to weld any cracks or solve the issue properly because it catches fire when welding and creates toxic fumes. However, it's hard to recommend a full top mount kit on a non-m when the cost of the kit + installation could eclipse the value of the car. CMP has a chassis rail plate which works quite well as a midrange option (https://cmpautoengineering.com/collections/all/products/e46-subframe-racp-to-chassis-rail-plates) in addition to underside plates.
