Ill allow that as an exception, Friends dont let friends buy 4 pot bmws that cost less than 6 figures for an average example and have an S series engine. Its not as catchy though.

FOR SALE: $55,000NZD or Bitcoin equivalent. **SOLD** Car is now SOLD pending payment to Ryan in Brisbane. (Dec22) It appears you gotta be fast in this current market! e46 M3 Touring SMG RHD tribute car based on the variant they never produced! (well, just the one concept car). Built in 2015 by HellBM in Auckland using a donor M3 and 318i Motorsport Touring. Featuring M3 or better spec this car has everything from rear view mirror to M3 spare wheel well delete. It is as close to the concept M3 Touring as you will get. There is an extensive thread that followed the build process right here on Bimmersport. Browsing the thread is better than me listing everything that has been done on this car. There are additional tasteful modifications completed by WerksGarage since the HellBM build that include: Recaro SR7 front seats trimmed in M-Sport fabric CSL-style alcantara steering wheel Dynavin navigation with Bluetooth & rearview camera Porsche-sourced Brembo calipers front and rear CSL 2-piece front brake rotors Pagid RS19 brake pads Adjustable front camber/caster plates BMW E9X M3 19" staggered rims Michelin PS4S tyres The car is also currently presented with: Bilstein PPS10 adjustable suspension CSL reflash engine DME CSL reflash on the SMG DME Auto Blip New clutch New starter New battery Sold with current WOF and REGO The car is LVVT certified for all modifications This is the "one car to do it all". Fit kids seats, carry all the gear and still do trackdays. I'm only selling to get finance my way into a 1M ... otherwise I would keep it! Asking price is cents in the dollar on the input. This car is in pristine condition and so very unique, I challenge you to find another! Car is located in Palmerston North, NEW ZEALAND. Happy to assist with PPI, transport, etc. Best way of informing yourself of the quality of this build (the rear panels took 6 days to fabricate!) is to read the build thread on Bimmersport.co.nz. https://bimmersport.co.nz/topic/50043-e46- The car was featured on Pistonheads back in 2018. https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=1715725#message1 And again here on the WerksGarage site showing some of the post-HellBM improvements https://werksgarage.co.nz/blogs/news/one-car-to-do-it-all I can discuss the possibility of accepting Bitcoin as payment. I don't have runflats and to begin with I carried a battery powered pump and a can of miracle puncture fixing goop. But I was never really happy about relying on that, so I hunted down a spacesaver spare plus a jack and wheel brace. The spare rides in the boot with a couple of ratchet tiedowns holding it secure. Takes up a lot of room but I don't ever carry much in the coupe so no problem. Cheers...

The type of activities you are referring to cannot be classified as an undertaking when carried out by a home owner or occupant of a residence. In general an undertaking would be a more substantial activity as per the definition you quoted a few posts higher up. The intention of the Act is to provide a safe working environment for employees, and clearly you would not be an employee if you are carrying out normal household maintenance or repairs to your own property. Even if you were to employ someone (who was not a self-employed contractor) to do this work, you are still not classified as a PCBU as highlighted in my post above. Rest easy and get stuck into those holiday chores Cheers...

Yes Jon I agree with you for times where the home occupier employs or engages someone to do the work.. My issue is when I want to do the work. I have not found anything that says a home occupier is not a PCBU when he wants to do work in and around the home except house maintenance. Any other activity in and around the home seems to be an undertaking and you are a PCBU. Be is cooking, gardening, hobbies, fixing your car etc.

Well I just bought some 5w-40 for that price cant go wrong. In reality it's neither hear nor there, the differences are so minute, even if you did back to back lab tests and all that if all is well you prob wont see any trends to worry about. I've always believed engine oil comparisons and test can only really be fairly shown in controlled environments with 100s of thousands of kilometers done in a short time to find distinct patterns, otherwise you wont really see much of a difference in the real world. It's a hard thing to gauge when the difference of an engines life could be 300,000km vs 450,000 due to different oils, thats decades of driving under normal use! At the end of the day, a certain window of viscosities are going to work just fine in the majority of engines, of course going to thin or too thick, namely in very hot extremes or cold winters will bring issues fairly quickly, although seasonal temp variations are not so much an issue for the North Island. Youre certainly right with race cars though, close attention needs to be kept on the oil temps and pressures and really lab tests to see how the engine is doing internally, relevant if you dont have big budget to do engine rebuilds every 5 minutes haha

Very nice! GLWS - I would be tempted but I've already got a couple e28s as it is. Sorry to hear of your circumstances!

@E28E30, first of the F15s, late 2013. Not sure if it’s Continentals only, they’re owned by Sime Darby and the offer came through them. Thought I’d seen it somewhere else in Akkd, but maybe I was imagining things. Has to be over 6 years old, fixed price for 4 cylinder, 6 cylinder or V8 (I think).

Had the X5 serviced at Continentals on their Value Package. Quick,, impeccable service, great chat about the car, good advice, really was 10/10.

Old but relevant thread... if you're still using Castrol rather than Penrite then you can currently pick up 5l of 5w-40 for 45% off at Repco, less than $50 is a great deal. I'll be picking up two bottles for the M3. https://www.repco.co.nz/en/oils-fluids/engine-oils-fluids/engine-oil/castrol-edge-5w-40-a3-b4-engine-oil-5l-3421235/p/A1331904

Tried Pickapart for a space saver? Just calculate the size to see if it will work. Also, if you get a flat with non run flats, you need to stop immediately. I shredded an $850 Michelin in 800m between noticing and stopping.
