AC Schnitzer Type IV 19x8.5 ET42 Genuine ACS IVs. Rare wheels. BMW E87 fitment, but will suit others. Can throw in some hubcentric 10mm spacers for aggressive rear fitment. Includes hubcentric rings and lock bolts. https://www.ac-schnitzer.de/en/bmw/1/e87-1-series-5-doors-e81-1-series-3-doors.html Pretty decent condition, some minor kerbing and paint chipping. Were refurbed a couple of years ago with new genuine centre caps etc. RE003 235x35 tyres with heeeeaps of life left (2 of them only done maybe 1000km) $1800 ono

I've noticed a similar trend with used parts. Demand is gone, yet sellers still expect what they paid two years ago. It's particularly obvious with things like manual conversions, etc. Some are getting upset at offers not meeting their expectations but the market has moved.

Is it worth the premium? Guess that's up to the market, and right now there are non comp spec versions that are turning over regularly for far less. There are plenty of people who are over extended financially trying to liquidate toys at inflated prices at present, not saying that this is the case here but it doesn't take much of a look around TM to find plenty of examples.

Installed the last of the diff bushings, subframe bushing tool worked pretty well, a lot of hollow space in the stock bushing so should help reduce twisting under load now that ive installed solid UHMW ones in place of all the original diff and subframe bushings. Got the diff back from Kaye Barrie today, huge thanks to him for getting it done so quickly, and sorting out the diff oil too. Installed it back into the car today, was a bit tricky getting it lined up with the driveshaft, axles and bushings all at the same time but managed to get there eventually with the help of a trolley jack. Removed the rear section of exhaust to make some more room. Got everything bolted back up and torqued everything I could up to spec. Car is back on the ground now, just waiting for the BOV vacuum line adapter still then I will take it for a test drive and see how it goes. Next thing on the list, is long overdue XHP transmission tune and another wheel alignment, then the car should be pretty well sorted for a fun weekend/backroad car for now.

I hate facebook. But there is an E34 New Zealand group on there. Lots of E34's change hands amongst the members. I sold my 525td in less than 30mins. Good bunch of enthusiasts in that group. Otherwise list the vehicle here. I am sure someone will pick it up.

Wellington governed by same rules and proxy votes can be made by members. I must say that Pete has done a great job of resurrecting the Wellington club with plenty of events and club meets. Always enjoy meeting other members and bimmersporters and talking about BMWs. Personally need to make more time to enjoy these things as life allows. edit, also saved more than the membership fee through dealer parts discounts when having my old e46 m3 serviced and maintained. Almost $200 in discounts just only rotors and pads in the last year 😀

true, and thats why most registered volunteer / club based organisations have elections at thier annual AGM. Even if there is only one candidate that stands and the vote is unanimous, the point is that everyone has had an opportunity to say, not just the handful of people that have the financial means and availability to get to an AGM on a particular evening. Edit: have just had a member message and say whats the difference to Bimmersport. The difference is that Bimmersport is a private company that derives revenue from selling advertising and merchandise to keep the lights on. It does not have members (or admin) that are obligated to pay to use the service.
