2 pointsMPQWER? I wouldn't've have thought a ICE high performance BMW would have been Chlöe Swarbrick's first choice as a Green MP but there you go, always a surprise! Real treat yesterday, 40 Ferraris, old and new and then 40 odd Porsches heading south of BP Solar. So cool seeing clubs in convoy on the Motorway. I did spot a BMW yesterday too.

1 pointYeah, they are so much better with a manual, suits the car. Those that disagree just dont like the fact that they are better No different transmission to the 4 pots, GS6-37BZ-TJES is 130 box (370Nm rated), shared with Z4 3.0Si and thats it. In saying that there will be a bunch that have slightly different ratios/bolt holes/input shaft dimensions that will/will not work (M54 E46 ZHP, Z4M etc all have GS6-37BZs)

1 pointI assume you are 70+? 😉 Has to be a dark interior for me. I quite like this terracotta interior my E87 has. But I am so glad the Merc is black. I've had grey before in my E46 and it was like it was always slightly dirty no matter how much I cleaned it. Had tan in my E39 and it felt dated and grubby, especially because it also had tan carpets and dash.

1 pointEvery manufacture has a dud engine or two, ask Mazda how their Skyactive engines are going? They are worse than the n46 motors. You can't compare a 33 year old car to a 10year old car, built it different eras to meet different regulations. Problem with BMWs is they become cheap enough for the average Joe to buy but not maintain which leaves to failures. Plenty of 33 year old BMWs running with big kms and getting thrashed around tracks
