The very same, travelled through a lot of hands since then, quite the laundry list of repairs to attend to now, but the price was right, and my garage is a home for wayward beamers.

I have just ordered some more parts for the 335i. The goal was to get springs with a firmer rate than the stock sport springs and as I have Koni yellows I should be able to match the damping to the spring rate. The springs I went with in the end are made by Tein. I could have gone with H&R sport or Eibach pro's but they have the same rate as the sport springs but with a lower ride height, the Tein's are about 8% stiffer than m3 springs so it's a noticeable increase. Reports are that with good dampers the stiffness is quite liveable. I didn't want to drop the car much lower than it is already and the Tein's would have done that so I was going to bypass them until I did a bit of research and found a way to add some ride height back. At the front I will swap in E30 spring perches and thicker 9mm spring perch pads. this will give me up to 19mm more ride height and overall should be 5-10mm lower than the current sport height, which will be about spot on. It should theoretically give me a little more shock travel as well. At the rear 10mm e30 upper spring pads will keep the rear drop in check. I dont mind a low car but I like to be able to get up driveways, get over speed humps and not smack into gutters all the time so a small decrease was acceptable but I just didn't want the slammed and tucked look. Plus I want the car to handle. As I have been mulling over how to get to this solution I thought I would share this information in case anyone else wants a stiffer setup that maintains a useable ride height. These parts will go in when I do the M3 front arms and hopefully a bigger rear sway bar.

1997 318ti My low beams stopped working a while back and after switching out for some brand new bulbs they still wouldn't turn on. I swapped the low beam fuse relay out for the horn relay and everything started working again, though now I have no working horn. I am looking for a replacement fuse relay (preferably 2 so I can have a general spare) V23134-N52-X171 6136-8 353 447

Hi all Has anyone had success with scan tools on the above mentioned V12 vehicles? The reason I ask is I find most will not talk to both DMEs if anyone has used a reasonable priced scan tool ( Or Expensive ) that talks to the DMEs please let me know. Regards Nigel

If the condition is good, the price seems fair. You might end up with a bit less, 4K say, but I'd say you're in the range. I'd love to have this in this price range, but life...

Ive taken time off work this week actually the whole week, I thought I might try get this engine in, most of it is coming together okay it's just the intake runners they have been cut and missing the bolt on flange part so no way to secure them, thinking I will go past mico metals and pick up some tube and flat and give it ago and also try make an intake boot. I've found a e60 starter motor which is nice and light so going to install that as it has the same connections and should fit the flywheel as I'm not running the m20 wheel anymore. ive found the pinout diagrams for the m50 and the s50 here.. http://wedophones.com/Manuals/BMW/1994 BMW 318i-s-c - 320i - 325i-s-c Electrical Troubleshooting Manual.pdf Which will make it easier to swap over the link g4 im going to get it running off the standard computer first to make sure it is all good Heres a few pictures of what I've been up to the last couple of days, tomorrow morning the m50 engines coming out and test fitting the s50, I know I'm going to have to modify something on the exhaust manifold and other things I just hope it's not going to be a major otherwise It might just be cheaper to get another one made lol

"Every new car has teething issues, and press cars are notoriously ridden hard and put away wet. But this kind of behavior is remarkable. And yet, for a certain set, the Giulia remains undeniably compelling." yeah, these are the people magnetised to the girlfriend/boyfriend they can't say no to, knowing they're unreliable, unfaithful, un-everything. These people are called emotional masochists. Still, the Giulia is great value in 2017! Used to be that you bought an Alfa for the passion, and the Chrysler because... well, you wanted a sh*t car. Now you get both in one package! The marketing guys are foaming!

many thanks. quick editing in Lightroom, takes about 2 mins tops. You're correct, I'd never make a successful dealer, as I keep my cars too long... hence I sell comparatively rarely. Selling's a big job for me as I like to do it well, ensure the buyer gets the info they need to make a decision to buy. Images, description, vehicle well presented. And I get the money into the bank; that's my measure of success.

mirror time. Baby approves. chopped up the old stock E82 ready for 3D scanning Motorsport mirrors, both weighed 147grams each. Stock mirror is 1200g each. Left glass fits nicely, right side is very motorsport, needs some glass sanded back to fit nicely. Damn rain, stopping play outside.
