Hello again. Just a quick update - I recently got some Euro style clear indicator lenses for Bluewater. As mentioned previously - this had me frustrated from the day the car arrived in my drive way. I hadn't noticed it previously, and it really bothered me - heightened by the tone of my car's hue - Bluewater Metallic which clashed with the amber lenses. I have some photos to share. Sadly, I am currently dependent on my iphone for photos - most of the photographic content on this forum puts my output to shame. Especially ADRO - man he sets a high benchmark with his beautiful photography! Hopefully - sooner rather than later I will be able to add some high quality photos of Bluewater on this forum. I take it out most weekends - and it really is one of the highlights of the week. What makes me sad living in the USA is seeing so many of these amazing cars being neglected. I have seen 2 awful examples this week in Carbon Black that clearly had seen better days. Don't think I'd ever see examples like that in NZ.

new season has arrived 2019-2020. Hampton downs best lap 1.14.3 race 1 wrecked my front splitter in Qualifying. spent the last week, 10 days fixing the car. problems..... spraying oil from the dipstick (I think), silicon to see if that works . cut an extra 20mm out of the rear guards to see if that stops the rubbing. ( softened up the rear shocks so there's more roll in the body) . fiberglassing up the front. I finished all 3 races, car was outstanding. driver has room to improve. ill add the car with me and a full tank of gas weighs 1266kgs

Next day i removed the stickers, gave it a good clean and polish. This car is immaculate, drives like a dream but just wanted to add my own touches. Things I have done: - Suede Alcantara wheel (from my old E30) - Genuine 16 inch AC Schnitzer wheels - Painted the valve cover - Changed Diff/Gearbox oil (Redline)

About a month ago i sold my 327i sedan and purchased another E30. I was on the hunt for a genuine M325i for a long time and found this beauty its had an extensive service history and came with 17inch Alpina (Kopi Rep) wheels. It may look familiar to some of the older members as it was CRZARBs (Atta’s) car. Enjoy the photos

I've got a bunch of boards to suit m52 single vanos(green board) and m50nv, m50 vanos, m4x and m60(Black board). Boards are $45 shipped Can order in all parts if needed. Basic component kit for m50 $300 and m52 $350. Can add baro pressure sensor, Bluetooth, extra outputs. These are pazzis designed boards and I will be donating $5 of every board sold, to him. These are a DIY kit. I will explain more if people are interested

Maybe is possible with the teensy board. I haven't kept up with it the teensy capabilities. What benefits are you trying to get from full sequential? I've been recycling second hand connectors. Haven't tried ordering the motronic ones off aliexpress. Did you fit a v3 in there with jumpers? Glad to hear there are a few people in nz going for the cheaper option

I built one for an M52 a few months back. I fit it into an MS41 Housing. Surprisingly easy to put together. I assume these are still batch fire (semi-sequential)? Is the cam position sensor supported? Do you have a source for the ECU connectors?

So, I decided in the end to use my 850r to commute from Hamilton to Auckland and back. With this situation, the 850r is manual and has cruise control, great for cruising but pain for Auckland driving. The new (old) car I buy more than likely auto can be used to drive around Auckland so no requirement for cruise control. Also I thought it would be good to have something with more of a classic look so decided an e28 may fit the bill. I needed to put myself out of misery so have purchased an 86 e28 535ia. This one is in way better condition than my old 1982 e28 520i. Thanks all for your help.

Hey Team so finally got some time to get on to this wagons dry sump motor. Gave the short block and heads a good final clean and quite chuffed on how it turned out. Also managed to get the heads torqued down with new gasket and head bolts thanks to @francoisv hope to have the rest of it done by next weekend.
