On most cars, when you remove a lock, theres a slot where the lock goes that can be opened with a screwdriver Have a good look [it's only mechanical] otherwise it's through the back seat

Anybody with High-Skool Metalwork Skills [not spellin'] could lathe up those spacers from free-machine aluminium [Mico's sell it] Try performance wheels in Tga for the studs. otherwise convert it to wheel nuts & source your studs from EDL fasteners

I've never read it, But look at the Title Sounds like sensationist journalism to entertain pessimists [like national enquirer, womans day etc] on the positive side; If the un-informed public treat this tripe as gospel, there would be less f**kwits in performance cars![bMW] therefore holding value amongst enthusiasts

Gotta E36 328 radiator [complete with bottle, hoses,& shroud] if you're interested

Floating Rotors are fixed for rotational torque, but float laterally between the pads [brake clamping loads usually centralize them] the advantage of floating Rotors or Calipers is the elimination of Pad Knock-off caused by loads under heavy cornering [eg hub flex or bearing float] If you're ever experienced Pad Knock-Off you'll know what I mean[The Pedal goes to the floor, taking up the clearances]

WESTIE MOD THEM MATE! HQ HOLDEN they're got a 2"shank, 7/16 diameter [real imperial measurements] and you can bash 'em in with your balljoint hammer [they're long enough for 1/2" spacers] If you need studs for Racing, use MOROSO 3" studs.Available via Mail Order from Summit Racing [uSA]

Hey Ozzy, I've just completed an E36 Manual Conversion 3 weeks ago [it's worth doing,I've already done 1000km's in it] I originally purchased a E34 manual conversion hoping to adapt it over [This wasn't worth the hassle,so I sold it] BUY A E36 MANUAL CONVERSION, IT IS WORTH IT IN THE END! the only real hiccup is trying to thread the clutch hard line behind the engine [most auto-manual forums are for LHD E36's] Starter inhibiter & reverse lights are easy to do. I was lucky and sold my Auto [so they pulled it for me] When you buy a conversion, GET EVERYTHING [even the starter bolts are different] You say you're interested in a Manual Conversion including a Motor [a wrecker would sting you $1500 for a Motor & $2000 for the conversion] I'd consider trading the car in on a manual E36 [could be cheaper] I know where there is a complete E36 325 thats rusty that has a manual conversion for sale! PM me and I'll set you up with the contact [and any other advice on this subject if needed] Syncrosmash Rules. . . . .Kerry

Classy Aye! Reminds me of years ago when I fully re-trimmed my brothers Mark 2 Zed Car with "Tijuana Tuck and Roll" leopard skin blanket material [when I mean 'fully' it was Seats,Dash,Door Cards,Kick Panels,Parcel Tray,Headliner etc] F**k it was in bad taste Mind you,I managed to resurrect a $100 piece-of-sh*t into the ultimate piss-wagon for the boys to cruize 'The Mount' in

Removing the Ignition Barrel & key totally? Will that work on cars with EWS?
-
As Cain said Try Lance Bell At Arrow Wheels [He can fix 'em] To me they look like those old Apollos that every VN Commode had fitted [same stud pattern]
-
I just re-alligned my steering wheel [after a crap wheel allignment job] now the Airbag light won't stop flashing How do I fix [or re-set it]? if this requires a dealer does anyone have any idea on costs [it was perfect intil I pulled the steering wheel for about 3 seconds]

People only consider a warranty a waste of money if their car doesn't break-down [How Ironic, it's risk management] If you drive crap like I do [and fix it yourself] the warranty would almost doudle the value of my driver .Do you consider insurance premiums a waste of money because you haven't had an accident?
-
....I learnt from Senna....dont drive crap cars with welded up steering columns.... Senna's death wasn't caused by a steering column failure,it was holding torque at the moment of impact. His accident was caused by the Car bottoming out [due to tyre shrinkage while the safety car was out] and resulting in a sudden loss of downforce. [The was the findings of the Italian Courts] Back to the Beehive Question Politics, from the word 'Poli' [meaning ,more than one] and 'Tics' [a blood sucking creature]

Yes You Are Being Pedantic: THEY ARE BOTH VERY FAMOUS, ONE PREFERED TO CALL HIMSELF PETE THE OTHER PETER [THEY BOTH KNEW OF EACH OTHER] IT WAS EASY FOR THEM TO AVOID CONFUSION THEY CALLED THE SHOTS,NOT ME!

Steve Irwin was told by God he could take anything he wanted from Earth to Heaven. When He got there,he whispered in Gods ear, "I said Croc not Brock, you idiot"

His name was Pete Brock [Not Peter Brock] they knew of each other but had never met. Pete Brock was a young designer[ex GM] that joined Shelby American [Hoping for a drive]as the P/R guy designing all the marketing & advertising. He ended up designing the Shelby Daytona Coupe [along with the Late John Ohlson from Mt Roskill NZ] of which 6 were built [a 7th built by Ohlson for Shelby,to original VIN tags in the 80's I believe] It seems ironic that Peter Brock's last drive was in a replica of the car designed by Pete Brock [in the 60's]

Yeah I mentioned the Brake Switch before! I've been there myself -
Yeah ,to a certain point I agree. that was thrashed around the world media for weeks! But...... I read that the family do not want any footage of this incident released to the public [Their loss will be greater than that of the public]

Hey, Let him Rest in Peace! He shouldn't be used to entertain people with morbid curiosity [He's an icon]

Great loss of a True Ambassador of Motorsport! I had a chat with Brocky on Targa 2002, One thing that stood out ,was he held Race-fans with higher regard than they did for him. I remember him getting dragged away from fans to get into a race-car, but he wouldn't go until he Autographed a poster for a kid. He was amazingly talented in a Race-car, awesome PR guy. he will be missed The Wicked Game That We Play..........
