We use them on the race car. No spacers needed. Did you get the kit from the States it has all the bits you need. -
We run a small case lsd in steves new E46 2 lt race car. I got the center from the states. Hard to find but some around start around a grand in price

ok, seems the Link ECU is gone, if anyone hears anything, please get back to me. Will publish the culprits name tomorrow if the police can't sort this.

Cars been found, trailer still missing. Seems the car was dropped on a back road in Takanini. It must have been too obvious I guess. Was left outside the friend of a guy who I know on Fbook, so we got informed before the cops even knew. We have cctv of the theives leaving Steve's place with the car in tow and know who the car belongs to and where they live, cops have been informed. Would like to thank all involved very much, we are due to be at the opening meet next weekend, so here's hoping it is all ok.

Hi guys, seems some lowlife has stolen by Brothers E46 race car and trailer some time today from Papakura, any info appreciated.

Can help with most of the bits you need. Have E46 M52B28 engine complete with ecu loom key and ignition if required, can be heard running at the moment, NZ new. Also have the sump etc.

M50 Vanos to non-Vanos Conversion?

No worries Andy, the following is all the stuff I can remember that we did. M52 or 54 block and head, if M54 you need to blank the DISA holes under the intake manifold in the head. M50 non vanos intake and TB M50 loom and 402 ECU, 403 and 405 will also work, M50 non vanos harmonic balancer, important for the sensor that it's non vanos one, different pickup to the rest. M50 sensors, cam, crank, tps iat, etc. M54 intake cam, M50 non vanos intake cam on exhaust side, in exhaust cam cradle, not intake cradle. Home made bits to lock the cams off, Set cams to fully open vanos state, that's where the best power should be. M54B30 injectors with modified loom, removed the plastic housing, M52 fuel rail, just bent the pipes to clear the manifold. Will add to this as I remember more stuff. Feel free to get in touch if you need any more. -

Exactly what I've done to my last 3 race car engines Andy. Can help with any info you may need. Have done on M54B30 and M52 B20. -
Mines alloy block, no vanos and lots of M50 bits and pieces. Must work tho, keep smashing Getrag boxes, too much torque. Now has a ZF M3 box.

He's in the process of setting up his dyno in Parity Place, just down from where he was in the old days, opposite Dan Slater. Last I heard he was a week or 2 away from having it going again.

Looking for the above, for the race car, sick of smashing the 220 box, destroyed 4th gear 2 meets in a row. Would look at full conversion or box only? Thanks, David.
