Hi guys, I'm looking for a M50 2.5 non vanos inlet cam in it's tray please. Anyone got a cracked head or even whole engine? Needs to be in good useable condition. Please leave a comment here or pm me. Cheers, David.

You never ever do what your brother suggests, ever, especially when it's Ashkan.....
-
Obviously you didn't dig deep enough.

All sorted Ash thanks. Shifter linkage is in the post....

Hey Steve, love your Fav. quote on trademe, very appropriate...

+1 to the above. If you were genuine and appreciated the 540is and what it means you would have repaired the original. In my opinion this is dodgy, you are selling a vehicle which has had the vin changed, that is illegal in this country I believe. The car may be very nice, but should be sold as what it is, and not with misleading advertising. It is not a 540is now, it is now a 540ia converted to a 6 speed 540, still very nice maybe. ps, why has it been withdrawn?
-
So, just to clarify this, you've taken the vin from the 540is and transferred it to the new secondhand shell? I didn't realise you could do this, do you just go to VTNZ to get it done, and does it need to be certified?

Hi Katy, about $200 at pickapart, so I'd be asking about that. You can price the parts yourself from their website here, http://www.pickapart.co.nz/pricelist.asp -
Smart looking yet a little rough E46 318 (Turners)

Think I've got enough on my hands with 4 builds at the moment, don't you? -
I bought a pair from oseas, they have straight arms, but when you go to fit them they hit the accel pedal. I went on to Ebay UK, and had a look at some. The pre 2002 ones have a kink in the arm to take them away from the accel pedal, and they fit fine, but if you look closely at the post 2002 ones they have straight arms. I also saw the part numbers, but there is a difference. see these 2 listings. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-E46-Manual-P...=item461120594a http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-3-E46-318i-0...=item19dc1442e5 notice the second one specifically says 02 to 05, hard to see in the pic, but the arms are straight and don't have the bend like the first add.
-
What year, before or after 02? They are different. I have one for after 02, the straight pedals.
-
You mean $27 at pickapart eh?

moisture in the ecu can kill the injector signal, I know from experience, that great teacher. You can put a screwdriver or stethoscope on the top of the injector, it ticks as it opens.
-
probably crank sensor or ECU?

it's a problem with the forum at the moment, same for everyone. The guys are supposed to be working on it....
