Those Safa's certainly know how to push my buttons, seems they can do what they like with BMWs.
-
Dutchy may be able to help, bmrmad.
-
That diff is being sold by Grant on here, same user name, gps289. If he says it's ok it will be.
-
Yeah it will fit, must be from a ti if it's E36.
-
+1, after 2 mins I've forgotten what I wanted to say.

http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...n-275526748.htm Something about white.
-
Yeah, if off an E32, the offset is wrong and they'll sit out too far.
-
Would have thought it was very realistic Damo. Good luck, if I win lotto you'll be hearing from me. Is the 255 hp, at the wheels?
-
Can you turn it around and remount it behind
-
Wrong offset.

Check this http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?mo...hg=11&fg=10

Steering is on the front on an E30, and the E30 318is came with the M42 engine. AFAIK a couple of the open class E30s are running this way.
-
Guess centre hanger bearing, or rubber guibo behind the gearbox.
-
Isn't the E30 M40 sump an option on this motor? If so I believe it gives you more room?
-
Med case diffs will fit all E30's. Centres do not swap from med to small.
-
The English series also use the R888, and 75% of their races are in the wet, so they must be OK.
-
Read the first post, it's 3 cms, not 3 mms, quite a difference.
-
Being prefacelift 318 it's not eligible for the series either.
-
Hey Paul, IMHO as some idea, around the $5000 as a start for a quicker sale, $7000 may take a bit longer, or $8 to 10000 at stealer prices. Taken from a cross section of Tme prices for those K's at the moment.
-
You can do it with eccentric rear trailing arm bushes, or weld on tabs on the cross member from Irelands or the like.
-
C'mon Ollie, this ain't Telecom is it?
-
It was a god buy, the last one I could find went for $480.
