So long as it's F/l to f/l or pre to pre you're fine, same box and setup, just can't mix f/l with pre and vice versa. Damnation

Believe they're around $200 total now Russell, could also try Jono, Zenetti on here, his should be getting close by now? About the same price.

You should know better than to try to think Simon.

Authority card lets you remove safety items on a road car, as per what happens with the E30 series cars. They change things like seat belts and brake lines and get a wof with the authority card, so I'd have to guess it can be done with certifying.

I reckon you're about right. I bought one last year for $1400, and have a mate who got one off Tme in September for $1000.Seems they get to a certain age and state and aren't worth fixing to Average Joe.

Build another race car, E28 again, but with turbo this time.

I thought the Tacho read off the sensor from the spark plug lead, or is that only on the M40's?

I use a product called Fuelite, from Andrew's. Available from most hardware outlets in the paint section. Works very much like iso, and won't harm the paint. Soak and wipe, same as iso, keep changing your rag as well, as it will get clogged with the glue and not work properly.

Well done Bruce, I guess you have to be realistic sometimes, and the mighty M3 calls I believe?

none in the engine.

It's a shame that the market seems a bit slow for these at the moment. Bruce's M5 isn't moving at $13,500 and I would have thought that was a real bargain. If this went to Turners right now, I'd guess around that $12 to $14 k mark maybe. I'd be hanging on till someone comes along, might be a bit of a wait, that's all. Good luck, lovely car.

How do i make my factory BBS alloys fit my other e30

That looks to have a ring on it, I'd probably try attacking it with a hammer and a cold chisel. Try to separate the ring from the hub by driving a wedge of some kind down the face of the disk, working your way around it. -
Happy Birthday Russel, see ya in January.

And then there are the real BMWs.

Good on ya Andy, makes sense to let the new owner do as they wish. Good luck with the sale, wouldn't be interested in an E28 race car would ya?
