The safest way is to use a reset tool- after the work has been carried out.... you do want to look after your car don't you ?

Its not so much the battery that I would worry about...its the alternator & the rist of spiking any of the control units. If the battery is over 3 years old and you can also fit the next size battery ... I would do it to be on the safe side.

Just be very careful with your electronics on your new car Heino. I would also advise upgrading the battery as well.

Personaly, I wouldn't buy any of the 4 cylinder models. N42 & N46 engines give so many problems. The M43 is ok, but lacks power. I'd only ever consider a 6 cylinder model if I was buying one.

I would suggest that you get it professionaly checked before you buy Yongxi, either by a dealer or BMW specialist. There are so many different things that can effect these vehicles and it is also dependant on what motor is in the car, they all have there pros & cons.
