In the last 4 weeks this vehicle has had $5,500 worth of repairs carried out. It is a really tidy vehicle and has done 120583km. It is a Jap import The vehicle will be sold with a 3 yr Motorplus Warranty I'm asking $13,000 for the car but can also sell without the warranty Work just completed: Valve grind ( had blown headgasket- no cracks & hardness check carried out) New radiator Water pump Thermostat All plastic water outlets replaced Timing chain tensioner Air filter Spark plugs Pollen filters Oil, filter, Diff oil Fuel filter Trans service- including gaskets, filter & synthetic oil 4 New Dunlop SP Sport 3000 tyres New WOF Registration Nov 2007 Usual Mtech options- half leather sport seats, s/roof, air/con, ABS, ASC Clarion in dash CD player We have serviced this vehicle for the past 2 yrs and all receipts are available- was owned by an accountant. Can anyone on here shed some light on where I can get a fuel pressure regulator so that I can increase fuel pressure by 5lbs ?? I still want to retain .5 bar increase with acceloration and I want to have an increase of 5lbs over the whole regulated range. Is there such a thing out there ?? My opinion is that a very good one has to be worth $20,000

When you do find one....DON'T buy it till you get it checked out by a professional who specialises in BMW. If in doubt, get y'r local BMW agents to do the pre-purchase. And be there when its done...if you can.

Just putting my 2 cents worth in You cant beat "cubic inches" for power upgrades & reliability As alot of you know, I have put a M52 2.8 litre into a '97 E36 318 TI compact (featured in "Rides") Took out the M44, trans and diff The car cost me $2,500 with a stuffed trans. It had factory AC mags, body kit, half leather & sunroof The donor car was a stolen & vandalised '97 328I Coupe done 77,000km We swapped it all over with very little hassles, and its all been done with off the shelf BMW parts The only thing that is not BMW is the rear muffler, strut brace & CAI To buy the car ($4,000) + all the new parts I needed cost me $9,500 in total Job finished in 4 days and owes me $12,000 It hauls arse and I'm realy pleased with the end product......and its reliable!! Unsure wot you mean by "break" You remove the exhaust, heat shield, then undo both ends and drop it out. You need to mark the splines when you split it so you dont upset its balance. Straight forward really. We charge $70 per hr+ GST. If its straight forward an hr should cover it. Depends on the exhaust. How its been done & so long as exhaust studs or bolts dont break.
