Yeah, cause a car crashing through your bedroom window happens more often than you think

Doing a search will answer all your questions

Sports seats that have been pilleged for spares. Cloth is very tatty, drivers seat is in pieces, one is missing the plastic back. They have served their purpose for me and I want them out of the house. Free to whoever wants to come and pick them up. Although beer donations are welcome

Yeah I agree with the opening ceremony. What the hell are TVNZ doing with the likes of Quinn, Telfer etc. They are so embarassingly bad as commentators. The cycling commentary was superb with the bloke being able to explain why the cyclists sit differently in their seats, and how they fit the rider to the bike etc. All Quinn and co could do at the opening was correct the Chinese women's pronunciation the whole time !

Yep have freeviewHD from a UHF aerial into my HTPC to a Samsung LCD. Picture is superb (as you would expect) and 5.1 sound is a bonus. But whats the point because all the coverage is the same bloody ads...here we go again ! As for the cycling, you have to wonder why they showed 2 hours of pretty much nothing to then cut off at the end. At least I had the option of cutting to TVNZ Sports Extra to watch the end of it rather than the football. Unfortunately TVNZ doesnt have the bandwidth for more than one HD channel so it was only standard quality Im only seeing it because Im off sick

Here I am sat watching the swimming in all its HD and Dolby 5.1 glory and yet what have I watched for the last hour....fcuking ads, thats what. Two minutes of swimming is followed by 3 or sometimes 4 minutes of adverts. TVNZ's coverage is a fcuking joke. Damn pretty but a fcuking joke.

Are we supposed to be impressed ?
-
I dont think you'll be getting any of those three at that price will you ? There is a lovely looking 740i msport on TM at the moment, has everything and if I could sell the touring I would be in there like a flash.
-
dunno, always bought it online

It sounds a little extreme, you should try some of this Liquid Leather absolutely superb stuff and you only have to do without the car for a few hours whilst it soaks in

Lots of potential....unfortunately can be good or bad. If there is nothing wrong then its an awful lot of car for the money, but 850's are notorious for electrical problems and they can be a nightmare to fix. Everyone should own a V12 at least once in their lives though Like any car though, get it thoroughly checked out and dont believe a word the seller says !

"Alpina style" WTF ?

Bravo for PM, couldnt have said it better myself. All this 'Ill be safer in a 4x4 and bugger the rest of you' is half the trouble because everyone else ends up in one aswell. Honestly the school run is a joke these days and I end up with the touring being one of the smallest vehicles of the lot.

Google tells me that E60's are 72.5
-
Might help to let us know where you are mate
-
Perhaps your view would change if, like me, you had three kids on the back Having said that my wife and I absolutely refuse to own a 4x4 on the simple basis that they are completely unneccesary when it comes to safety. Most of the people I talk to only bought one because there are so many on the roads and they dont want to be worse off in a smash. Id rather be in my e39 touring anyday. Tell me though....how do you judge safety (not Cam, everyone) ? Does the fact that a 4x4's occupants might be ok in a smash but the car its just driven over is wasted mean its safer ?

Ray, I dont think Max was meaning anything in a bad way. We all have differing opinons on the value of things, sometimes people need to try and buy one for themselves to get a grasp on market value. Im sure you'll have no problem selling the armrest given recent threads on the subject !

Get in early mate and scare the opposition off.

Link doesnt work my friend ! [edit] does now....god youve got to love mod power
-
Was it no reserve then ?
-
Start price is neither here nor there....its what he actually wants for it that matters ! All the others have been priced around the 45-50k mark and I wouldnt see this one being any different
-
Couple of points.... I borrowed an e34, same colour as my e30 and I asked the wife what she thought of being 'supersized'....she said it looked like a tank, whereas the e30 looked sleak and lean I wouldnt buy an e36 if you paid me. They have to be one of the most uninspiring cars Ive ever seen, they just do nothing for me. Not even tastefully modified ones get me interested. As for the blond, she's welcome to do whatever she can for me At the end of the day you can always turn off the light and imagine any colour you want !!

hahaha welcome to London my friend !
