Whats the point in having a for sale thread then if all anyone ever does it 'offers please' ? How many people have actually sold something by not having a price? Its getting ridiculous, if you want offers start an auction, if you know what you want state the price, its simple.

I cant see him selling it at that price to be honest. Ive been watching e28's, e34's and e32's for a while now and although the 'is' has a premium its certainly not twice the price of a well sorted 540 (albeit auto)

What I have is the bog standard seats (which I think is the same as your grey seats - from what Ive seen on TM). They havent been used much and have an awful lot of padding in them. The base is actually convex rather than concave and as Im 6'5 and my wife is 6' too, even with them at their lowest setting, we both hit the roof with our heads. The comfort seats we had in the 7 sat much lower and were much more comfortable for us as we could fold the back of the seat up to contact with our shoulders (there is a hinge half way up the seat) which the standard seats dont have. I dont mind dying seats if necessary, but I need to know if comfort seats are any better before selling the car for something else. Id love some psorts seats but the comfort seats would be great. Ill take some photos of mine tomorrow.

Unless they can prove you underpaid they dont have a leg to stand on. Carl is right, dont get all shitty about it, write a decent letter telling them that you always put 20 in and that you have the records to show you paid 20 that night. After that its all down to them having to prove that you took more. Considering the amount of money involved they are very unlikely to follow up. It would cost them way more to chase you for it.

Well I only know one wreckers in Wellington and on the occasions I checked with them they havent had any BMW, so I guess me question is....is there anywhere in Auckland that might have something ?

Im thinking about changing the standard front seats I have in the touring for either the comfort or sports seats. Does anyone know where Im likely to find someone who has these ? Am I pi$$ing in the wind trying to find a set of seats ?

Do we have any on here ? Im particularly interested to know where they rust. I know the obvious answer is everywhere but I want to know what to look for specifically and anything else to bear in mind with them.

Thats my point though, has he actually bought sold anything yet ?Buying and selling is what makes the wold go round. Sure his taste is all in his mouth and he's a grade A prick when it comes to his auctions but he is not going to sell anything treating people like that is he? As for the M5 bit....its fine as a 'Q' car but an M5 its not, just my opinion thats all

Granted he is a prick and his repainting leaves alot to be desired but I dont see him selling anything so isnt that his perogative ?

Mate have you not read the other threads about for sale items that have no price ? Just asking for offers is going to get you nowhere....put a price on it and be done with it.
