What so unique about a manual 540 with a schnitzer body kit ? I thought we had already established that it wasnt a 'genuine' S5, in that it hadnt had any engine or exhaust mods. Its doesnt even have the sports seats.

Another one bites the dust......Im going away now to check all my posts for incriminating evidence We have a couple of bobbies on one of the forums Im on in the UK. They are fully active members and genuine enthusiasts of the cars. Everyone knows who they work for and they openly give 'advice' on certain matters of the law. Completely their own opinions and in no way binding at all but it was very interesting to listen to what the 'man on the street' is looking for in vehicles and perhaps it could work here too.

The 740 gave me 17mpg and the 528iT gives me 20mpg which is 90% city driving. I cant honestly see the fuel consumption being that much different to be honest. Whats a couple of mpg over the life of the car ?

LTNZ has been trialling cameras to read your plates for about 4 years now, hence the chance in size and font of the new plates. It will be the next big thing in tracking those without WOF's, Rego's etc and in cutting down the 40% error rate in speed tickets, because they are still read by someone with a magnifying glass !

Well Simon wasnt too keen and with plenty of generosity he let me have the wheels Id benn chasing for three months. Have to say Im very happy today
