It all depends on what you do. Laptaps are great for portability but are beaten all ends up for what Paul wants to do by desktops. Paul, are you wanting to hook your satellite up to the new machine to record ?

Paul, Are you talking about watching IPTV, or just stuff youve downloaded ? IPTV is all about your internet connection and I seriously doubt Xtra is good enough for that, but if its downloaded then you just need something capable. Why a laptop though ? Do you want to be able to use it all around the house or is this machine to be run your tv like mine ? Ive been speccing a new machine up to handle the HD content thats being trialled at the moment and it comes in around 1200 all up. It will handle all 1080p content with ease and you will be able to do all your timeshifting etc on it. It all depends if you want to be able to do this all around the house or not ? We need to talk this through over a beer [edit] forgot to say that this will do hdmi to your new LCD

I cant remember what the stuff is that you use to take the tint off but it cant be hard to find in a hardware store. I did it a couple of times on my 750 because I kept spraying them too dark and it would flash red and not orange. No problems with the 325 though, once youve had a go its not hard to get it right next time. As for my indicators I got them from the UK as the crytal indicators. But instead of using the 'crystal' reflector in th new indicator unit all I did was swap the clear lense over. I like them

I dont think the colour matters as Ive seen plenty of cars from the US with all red lights and red indicators and there are god knows how many holdens out there with indicators that are more white than orange. It is however illegal to put any tint on the lense. Ive known some people to get caught out by it, but Ive not had it even questioned where i get my WOF'd

If theyve just been sprayed why dont you take some paint cleaner (or whatever its called) to them and strip it off ? You can then tint them red yourself.

Your main cost is not going to be the shipping but the packing. There is a rule now that all wood used must be of a certain standard for 'treatment'. You cant just stick it in any old create and hope to get it in the country. Sorry, Ill have to dig out the paperwork for the technical term. I was looking at bringing some body kits out last year and the packaging would cost twice the actually frieght. We were looking at 600quid to just to create the kits up !! One thing I discussed with the shipping agent here was to use just any old wood, and take it on the chin that MAF would stop it this end and fumigate, but at $100 an hour (plus the cost of fumigation) it didnt make much difference. I have the paperwork somewhere if you want me to find it.

From what I can find on the web, the 260/6 is from an e32 735i and the 260/5 appears to be from the e28 535 and there is a 260/8 and a 260/2 aswell, the /8 is from an e34 m5 3.8 and the /2 is the dogleg. At least I think thats right.
