  1. I assume you are referring to that silver one - offered at $33 and sold (close?). I wonder how ratty that was IRL. At the other end you have people asking $80k for 60km nice examples
  2. Yeah that’s the best looking spec for a non LCI f25. Good spec f30 looks better. But mid spec I don’t think. Drive a big motor f25. I used to hate SUVs, until I became one. (If it’s your only car / sporty car then f30 makes more sense). Or go LCI e90 put a car play head unit in it and $ave?
  3. Factor in RUC and about the same as a 30d
  4. I was looking for an F30 wagon, and ended up converted to an X3. Pre C19/Ukraine diesel made more sense. Pretty much only upside now is that awesome low down punch, so still like mine. But the petrol versions are obviously great too. Good value
  5. Nice, but why not get a proper fitting plate!
  6. Mint condition Titanium with alcantara 6 speed These are $250+ shipping new http://www.storm-motorwerks.com/interior/bmw/shift_knobs_v4/ $150 shipped
  7. I assume this thread is all referring to just e90, not e9x?

MF = micro fibre. Rupes is nice! I just used a Supercheap DA.

Nothing to look out for as far as I know. Paint wasn’t too bad. I read that with a MF cutting pad and Essence actually cuts quite a bit and is a primer for Cquartz. Some sections I cut first though. Results were pretty good with one step though so I accepted 90-95%. I would love to see how perfect you could get it if you did a full 2 step though. Quartz definitely darkens the paint colour a little.

Yeah paying for a polish is money well spent. Coating is pretty easy to apply though. Driving around in a freshly polished car is always quite fascinating. Within an hour I had two people literally wind down their windows and compliment it.

I was a big wax/sealant guy. Finally committed to a ceramic coating. Gotta say on first impression I can see the appeal. Paint wasn't too bad as I had polished it years ago, but did have water spotting and needed a polish. I wasn't going to chase the last 5% - Polishing is a nightmare. Even blasting through it it took ~5-6 hours. I used; Carpro Fixer (for some 'worse' areas) Carpro Essence all over MF cutting pad Finishing pad only on the bonnet where I went pretty hard to get the water spots out. CQuartz UK 3.0 + Reload It's a dream on all the black trim, (PDC sensors look brand new!), wipers etc. It looks the best it ever has, so looking forward to the long term review! It has convinced me that I would put a coating on a 'non corrected car' - maybe just a quick polish. And I would live with some locked in swirls (on say a white car) to get the coating benefits. Going to cull my detail cabinet now...
  13. What is left that is 2 or 3? Surely every combo is gone? I am surprised how many of the black style plates are on the road. (They do look quite good on come cars)

Didn't see another thread? At first I thought, "na" - but I have already come around. This thing looks sick. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pn2SiCgKcXg
  18. I still daily e46 ! Good points, thanks for reminding me. F80s do look great, and the power is awesome. Both is the answer.
