i timed the boot up of my pc. exactly 1 min 16 secs with win 7. 16 secs to get to OS loading screen, 30 secs for win 7 to load then onto PW screen. then bout 30 secs to load everything. and its not a fresh install as well. have had it running for 4 months with new OS

did u bleed the system properly?? you need 2 guys to bleed it. 1 pumping the pedal while you are at the bleed valve letting out air. on all 4 brake calipers.

how would you describe "gushing out". if its like a constant stream probably the rubber seal has gave way. take it out and inspect. how long were you driving it? if i was you, i would likely replace it dont want to risk the engine being cooked coz of a $100 part. check the pipes, and other seals, check thermostat, check oil as well for coolant contamination. but apart from that..wait for glenn.. he the pro

get a 730i.. i think thats the smallest v8.

at that k's. the shocks are shot or about to be and will need replacing. it cost me a ton to replace mine @ 228ks. body rubber seals would be cracked or stiff by now. trans would need a service. diff as well if he has not done so. brake rotors will need replacing too assuming its still the stock ones and various other suspension parts to get it to tip top shape amongst other things. i've got the 740i v8 and the engine suits the car. i can't imagine driving a e38 with a 2.8 engine non v8.. that's like driving a 518i probably lol. e38 is a cruiser car and not meant for sporty feel.

RC bolt seals? what those look like? are those like the rubber grommet on the bolts?

anyone done it before and can tell me what i need and any special tools? cylinder 6 got a oil leak on the spark plug gasket and will need replacing. will be replace the valve cover gasket as well. thanks for the help

mine backfired when i reach 3k rpm. and rough idle when my camshaft sensor was shot. although this is in the m50 though dunno if it applies to your car.

anyone recommend a decent tinting place in auck? planning on sending the 3. prices?
