black circles?? ive got my car butchered atm, doing a lil spruce up in the interior. that cloth is / was stuck onto a fibreglass moulding. you need to be careful semi easy to snap in 1/2 if you are trying to remove it from the door panel. and the glue that the fibreglass is stuck onto the door panel is still sticky as a %*^%. i used a glue dissolver/cleaner. sprayed it into the blacking glue and left for an hour to soak. was about 1/2 easier to pull it off..

it was at running temp. she drove from north shore to my house which is like 20 km. exhaust dont smell like coolant as well. oil level is normal. oh her car is around the 220k's mark edit: just took out 1 spark plug and its black.. really black...

ok, my aunt asked me to check her car. as she can't afford to pay a mechanic to check it. she brought me her e36 m50 and told me that she noticed her exhaust is rather smoky. i checked and at idle, even when the engine is warm the smoke is white and about 60cm long. it smelt like gas put my had against it but no moisture. have not tried to rev the engine and see if the smoke gets bigger or not. she has not driven it for about 3 - 4 weeks. checked radiator cap after cooling off a bit no oil in there and checked oil cap no chocolate either peeked inside the valve cover and cant see any chocolate either.. waited for it fully cool down and checked coolant level. its at normal. head gasket? worn out spark plugs, o2? or a monster inside with a steel hammer? ill try and do a compression test if i can find my tester

trying to remove the door rubber seal that goes around the doors on the coupe. im stuck at the bottom part where that black long panel is clipped on tight. tried to pull it ending up breaking one of the clips holding it. how do i remove it?

restoration project... you can't salvage most of the parts on that car.. cheaper to buy a running dunga 1 then do it up

had some unfriendly characters reversed into my car when i was in the parking lot queued up in traffic looking for a park. the "unfriendly" woman reversed her odessey into my rear side 1/4 panel and said that it was my fault that she could not see my car... .... ... ... ... i was standing there baffled about what she said as i looked into the massive dent she left on my car... told her that i would park my car first then sort it out.. took the plate number down and looked for a parking. got one close by and called her over. she was furious as a rabid dog.ranting about how its my fault... and then her husband came and said "%*&$ its not even that big and visible.. what are you on about you %&%& ^**%$! " told them are you guys %*&$ blind. the dent is like 10cm deep 40 cm wide!!... then some good ole bystanders said "you want me to call the police. i'll be your witness" well story goes on from that.. but in the end since i only have 3rd party insurance on that car, and the fact that they dont have insurance or the lady was driving without a license, they ended up paying only $10 a week to me FFS!!...
