oh and watch out for smart thieves too... they steal semi rangi cars before they book a test drive with you. bring the stolen car. and use it as collateral for the test drive. then never see your car again. best to avoid that by insisting you be in the car when they test drive it and write down their license number leave that at home and have you hold their license while in the car just to be safe.

or you could do hidden inscribing on the parts you sell. you would not believe how much people will go through to save money. my uncle tells me all sorts of story about his shop in asia. on how people buy parts from him and 2 days later says its broke. turns out the customer had swapped parts from the broken one to the one they bought and claiming it was broken and want a refund.

dont lose your business over a few customers. just make sure you got your back covered with guarantee exemptions.. if they still come back say.. hey it was not a dodgy part and the damage was done by misuse / dodgy installation. so its not covered by warranty.

well just remember a business would lose customers without any slack on the leash. gotta give and take. not everyone can dish out more hundies for a top quality AAA+ mechanic. if oil leaks appear due to bad installation and causes seizure of the transmission. it is not the suppliers fault but that of the mechanic. bring it to him.

you can try and get it scanned see if it shows the problem. when i had a vacuum problem on my car, scanned it, and it showed which cylinders were misfiring and rocking the car like mad. sprayed engine start around the hoses and found the crack. fixed it. reset the error and it purrs like new again. edit: good to have you on board.

yeah say. no warranty unless they have a receipt from a current registered mechanic which whom installed it. or they have proof that the damage was not cause because of stupid people trying to install it in their garage who think they can do it. no registered mechanic = no gaurantee.
