What engine is it?? m20 or m50? the gearbox will bolt onto the 2.5l engine as long as it is of the same family (m20b25 or m50b25). M20's are fairly easy.. make sure you get the head tested and skimmed. m50's are a little trickier, prob best to buy a replacement engine to drop in if its an m50. Plenty around fairly cheap.

Happy birthday old fella.

I tend to use a larger spanner say 15mm?? and sometimes a pipe on it to give extra leverage..
-
what engine is it? on the m20's you can usually get away with using the ring end of a spanner on one of the water pump/pulley bolts to hold the pump and a normal 32mm spanne. not ideal just be careful when you do it (wear some leather gloves when you do it to save some stitches if you slip).

I will supply a car to go round and round Marty's paddock in circles, next to the shed with the hoist that will have your car on it with lots of strange south aucklanders underneith it poking and probing it with multimeters and soldering irons. YOU CAN DO EEET!!! bring beer..

Petrol Used: Tractor Fuel Engine Size: 6 Cyl, 2.5L Trans: Manual Car Year: 1994 4.8l/100k avg - Highway driving sitting at 100km/h. (Auckland-Welly) 7.8l/100k avg - Around town driving peak hour motorway. (256km per week/$20 week to get to work and back) The OBC seems to line up quite close to my calculations. God damn road user charges..

DONT DRIVE TO THE POLICE STATION TO TURN YOURSELF IN.. YES I KNOW I AM SHOUTING

I can see why you like it Glenn... Its kind of like a 318ti on some super incredible hulk steroids with big bulging manly muscles.. it even has your red ring thing on the wheels.. You just need a roof chop on yours and put some scoops on your bonnet.. I don't actually think its too horrendous, a few things I don't like.. It looks like a crx from behind, It looks like a snakes head from the front... maybe tone down the transformers styling a bit.. A different colour maybe..

ITS PADDOCK TIME take the doors off so we can fill it with mud *jumps up and down all excited* Looks good.. No wonder you were in a hurry to leave this arvo..

I have the constant checking of first gear while waiting at lights.. would hate to try and take off in neutral or 3rd gear. I hate it when my mouth screams condemning remarks at transvestite prostitutes standing outside some local schools.. and my favourite bakery.. they make good lamingtons.. the bakery not the transvestite prostitutes.. I have seen them in the daytime standing on the corners, but I didnt yell at them because there were children around.. and I dislike bongo vans, and toyota enimas and hiace vans and suzuki swifts who merge like a zip from motorway on ramps, across 2 lanes and sit on 80km/h when everyone else is doing 100k. Especially annoying when they are racing 3 wide doing 80k's and you get stuck behind them.. the start of peak hour traffic, But I like rumbling paint strips on the sides of the motorway, I try and see how long I can stay on them, i try and make songs with my speed.. I think they should make musical ones so you can listen to songs when you drive on them..

Haha you know of Marty's 5am pie eating ritual?? I have never seen a man so relieved to see an engine fire on the first crank.. after turning some "sh*t" off.. Marty you may have noticed the drivers seat was moved last night to accomodate my slightly different driving position.. *nudge nudge*.. but I think you forgot to leave the keys under the door mat for me. You now know how long it takes me to drop a gearbox and motor out of an E34.. your car gets left so very close to the hoist while you are sleeping.. another couple of metres and it would be on the hoist.. Sleep well my friend.. I work very quietly

I have seen one e34 regulator fail.. the passenger side one is a major pita to replace.. drivers side is quite simple.. Have seen lots of clips break on the arms and make big thumping and clicking noises and jam the window when winding up.. Maybe yours are worn due to excessive use around education facilities...

Hey Marty .. the ecu and afm are there just no wiring loom.
-
I have for sale one M30B35 engine, there is no engine loom with it. I cannot guarantee the mileage on it as I purchased the vehicle as a wreck I was told it had 170,000kms on it (it was a very tidy and well looked after car so believe he was genuine). It was transplanted into the vehicle and was written off not long after (rear impact). Will post up compressions if there is any interest, I have the engine in storage so will have to make a trip out there to do a compression test hence why I don't have them at hand. I am looking for somewhere around $900. Auto gearbox is also available for it.

Goddammit I need copyrights.. but well done.. that was the intended purpose..

I can't believe Bravo drank it either.. its a pity I didn't record his shriek when I grabbed the bottles and told him what they were to be used for... he did say that people would probably flame it on the boards.. I don't drink bourbon either

With how many wheels?? its 50 points if you get it with both your front wheel and a rear wheel aswell.. otherwise its only 20 points, and only 10 points for a chassis thump. +10 points if its on the otherside of the centre line..
