I have a 750iL.. there would be enough room for a spa pool aswell, but none of your E30's would be able to tow it... mind you there will probably be enough room to add an E30 transporting deck aswell to tow you all home when you break down.

Sure is. Offers around $800. Includes wiring loom

As per title.. An M50B25 intake manifold. $150 pick up from Parnell during business hours or Manukau after hours.

Would be perfect for the race series... just add rollcage. Im surprised they ticked the carpet option.. You cant really lighten it much more.. well theres not much to take out of it..

Had to re-read that one..

Oooh yeah.. so very pimpulating.. Just what every E32 needs.. Reserve is realistic.. Link to a website with Exorbitant Sales Fees where everybody goes to buy Crap I need to clear some space.. and this will create alot of space to store things.. Tell your grandads who are still driving their boats around that you have seen the perfect interior upgrade that they should have ticked when they ordered their 7 Series boat..

I have recently done this conversion on an M50B25, The original dual-mass flywheel needed replacing so I replaced it with an m20 clutch and flywheel. The m20 starter motor also has to be used. The car was originally an Auto so a small amount of the "torque converter bolt access" had to be ground off to accomodate the M20 flywheel. The pro's for me were I could get rid of the dual-mass (really heavy) and replace it with a heavy M20 clutch, and also I had spare m20 bits lying around to replace it with. As for replacing things while you are in there.. you could replace your rear crank seal while you are in there, along with your thrust bearing, and pilot bearing, the guibo, gearbox mounts, etc etc etc. depends on who is doing it and what tools you have acess to.

I repaired a friends engine (Broke cambelt), bent valves, broken bridge. He didn't have alot of money so gave him his options. He chose the cheapest option, replaced bent valves, new cambelt, head gasket, headbolts, left the broken bridge as it was. Did it for him at cost plus a few beers, told him to cross fingers and hope for the best. 2 years and still going... I have been waiting for it to die so I can buy the leather and schnitzers.

You would certainly hope they developed the diesels further over the last 15 years... The TD has 115bhp - 222 Nm 164 lb-ft, where the TDS (intercooled) has 143bhp - 260 Nm 192 lb-ft. Hardly rocket ships, but still respectable and surprise a lot of people.. very reliable and extremely cheap to run. I dont know about the standard TD with an autobox though... I dont know if I would tow boats with it.

have you tried on the passenger side aswell?

does the steering wheel still turn?? if it doesn't as Brent said above.. if it does turn check the joint going to the steering box.. also may be the arm on the steering box, I have come across some which have needed some tightening due to play in the steering but never to the point of no steering at all.

haha showed the guys at work and they asked where I got the crane from??? that beats hedge clippers any day, just give it a quick buzz cut. Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa ha

Looks like a 3 series with a 1 series front on it.. a bit dissapointed.. I like the m5 engine though

BOOOOOOO, I still havnt been for a ride yet Marty the closest I have got so far is when you pushed me onto the trailer in the rain to take it to the tuner, and i couldnt see because the window wipers werent working, and the heater wasnt working because you didnt connect the battery for me and there was no radio I had to listen to you moaning about the cold and getting wet. It felt like there was ALOT more horse powers waiting to be unleashed. I think the tuner man liked your car.. he wanted to keep it.. I like it when no one can buy it from you.. that means it will stay in your shed for me to look at.. FOREVER!!! oh thats if it ever comes home again.. it must be your most fuel efficient car. Seriously well worth a look guys, still sad knowing that it will be sold to someone else.

Quite possibly the only PP plate I have liked.. not a huge fan of them really. Subtlety is the key.

Need to get the head checked by a cylinder head specialist who will also be able to skim it. Price depends if you have any contacts in the industry. You WILL need to get new headbolts aswell. Once again depending who you know depends on how much. All going well I would budget at least $500-$600, on your headgasket replacement if your head is not cracked and can be salvaged. Things to put on the to buy list: Headbolts Headgasket CamBelt Tensioner(maybe) Waterpump(maybe) Thermostat(maybe) Radiatior(maybe) Cooling hoses(maybe) Oil Filter Antifreeze Also most importantly what caused the blown headgasket in the first place (usually overheating which is why I listed the "maybe's"), What ever caused it to fail will need to be fixed otherwise no point replacing it. Have to look at how much you are prepared to spend on the car to be honest. By the sounds of things you are needing a lot of things. I have a 520i manual that has been sitting on my front lawn for over a year now, may be a cheaper and faster option to buy this one and swap the few things that need replacing on it i.e Shocks, maybe the gearbox a couple of years down the track depending how you drive it, rather than fixing the one you have now..

Will be an m20b20. I would suggest getting the head checked for warpage and cracking... and also get the surface skimmed if it checks out ok. Do your cambelt at least while you are in there, also recommend your waterpump and check your cambelt tensioner while you have the front off.

Farrrrq YEAHHH!! What a game I am drunk.. that is all.

You should not need to buy it back.. unless they are going to pay for all the modifactions/upgrades to be done to the replacement vehicle.. They will only pay market value for the car which will not take into consideration the wheels/suspension anything else he has done to it. As was the case with my brother he had quite a heavily modified engine with brakes and suspension to suit. The insurance company would only consider paying market value for his car and would not take into account any modifications.. put forward to the insurance company a sensible amount to buy a car in the same condition plus his car back so he could transfer all of his blood sweat and tears into the replacement.. or see you in court basically.. Eventually it was sorted with the asking amount plus the return of his car. It will pay to have someone who is able to construct some very well written letters handy.

OOooh.. Come round for a beer and a chinwag. Just heading to my brothers now will have a chat and find out the details of course of action he took. His g/f has just recently changed career out of insurance. She's a goldmine for this kind of stuff.

I'm not entirely sure how things work, but a couple of years back my brother had his car crashed into, My brother wasn't insured but the other car was. My brother got paid out by the other party's insurance company and they came to collect his car to take away. He put his foot down because he had no insurance policy with them saying he had to hand over the car. He got to keep his car, got paid out what the value of the car was, pulled everything off the body and transferred it into another shell. My question is.. do you have to lodge a claim with your insurance company? if you can be bothered with the hassle could you not try to do something similar? If I was in your situation I know I would be fighting hammer and claw to get my car back if it wasnt fixable. I would want all my running gear back for a transplant into another body.
